MAKING AN APPOINTMENT IS WORTHLESS My dad drives a FORD SUV and made an appointment to get the tires changed for winter. He goes in this morning (early before his appointment) - goes to the receptionist (a woman who makes no effort in her job) and tells her he has an appointment. She looks for the information and proceeds to tell my dad there is no appointment written down. My dad then tells her the person he spoke with to schedule said appointment and the girl mentions he won't be back til later. My dad waits around for a bit (a bit being over a half hour) and then leaves. What kind of service is this for someone who has been with FORD for years (probably close to about 15)- COMPLETELY RUDE AND INEFFECTIVE SERVICE. WHY TAKE APPOINTMENTS AT ALL? MIGHT AS WELL WALK-IN. KANATA FORD = I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP (ALSO NOT THE FIRST TIME SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAS HAPPENED)- Go somewhere where you are appreciated as a long term client and where something so simple as a tire change that was booked weeks in advance gets done quickly and efficiently. More

They even buffed out and re-painted a scrape on the back bumper that I suspected occurred at the dealer - they didn't have to since it couldn't be proved, but they took care of it anyway without hesitation. Having Ford's roadside assistance, they dispatched a tow truck when the car broke down and towed it to Kanata Ford free of charge. They also provided a Loaner for the weekend that my 2013 Fusion was in the shop for. I couldn't be happier. Thanks. Great work. Paul More

New Car purchase, missing parts, never rectified I bought a new $37,000 brand new Ford from the dealership. I drove in from 2 hours out of town - the car was not properly prepared/PDI not done - no s I bought a new $37,000 brand new Ford from the dealership. I drove in from 2 hours out of town - the car was not properly prepared/PDI not done - no sheet ticked off - block heater was in plastic in trunk and not installed - they said to come back - I said I wanted it done there, as they promised the car for this time and date - they gave me a coupon for a free oil change (I'm 2 hours away) and told me to come back another day. I take it to my local Ford dealer when I drive home and they say the plastic battery cover is also missing. I sent several emails to Kanata Ford - they said they would send one - they never did and never answered me. Deplorable customer service ! Never again. As a side note, my brother in law took his F150 there for an oil change - they said it would be 45 minutes to do - It took THREE hours and 15 minutes - don't even think of servicing your vehicle there. More

STAY AWAY! Terrible service and terrible vehicles I traded in a F150 after 2 years which I purchased from Kanata Ford. I assumed being a loyal customer would count, but apparently not. I purchased a I traded in a F150 after 2 years which I purchased from Kanata Ford. I assumed being a loyal customer would count, but apparently not. I purchased a new 2012 Focus and within the first year I started to notice rust spots on the roof. When I brought it in I was told it was rock chips and is not covered. I wondered why a new car would chip so easily and start to rust so quickly. As the next year went on the rust spots kept appearing and paint was bubbling in spots. I was told again it is not covered but they recommended I buy sandpaper and fix it myself! Useless....now in its 3rd year the paint on the hood is lifting off in sheets and when I open the hood is it completely rusting out. Doesn't even look like there is primer under the paint. Again....not covered and Kanata Ford acts like this is normal...I have owned many cars and for more than 3 years and have never seen rust like this or paint that chips when you look at it sideways! Ford does not stand behind their terrible products and Kanata Ford is looking to gauge you every opportunity they get. I am done fighting a lost cause and have just traded in the Ford for a different brand and different dealer....I would run and not walk from this dealership...unless you enjoy their $110 oil changes! Ford has lost a customer for life and Kanata Ford should be avoided. More

Do yourself a favor and avoid Kanata Ford Service at all costs, you will save yourself a lot of grief. More

On several occasions they have billed me incorrectly. Once I can forgive but after more than once one gets suspicious. Check your service bill carefully before paying. They charge an outrageous amount for a simple oil change and/or tire rotation. Not at all competitive with their counterparts. I now drive further to another dealership for service. Well worth it. I save lots by doing so and I feel I can trust them. Kanata Ford I never get the feeling I can trust them. One has to wonder why business operate this way. What they charge for service is an insult to the customers intelligence. More
