When depressing the gas pedal there was no acceleration, grinding noises, the engine light came on and the "D" light on the dash was flashing. I had it towed to Jonker Honda because I have been a long time, loyal customer of Jonkers and have always been very impressed with their product and staff. After checking the vehicle over I was told that they recommended installing a speed sensor switch that might fix the problem but was also told that it may still end up needing a new transmission. I gave the go ahead to try the speed sensor switch because I trusted that Honda knew what they were doing and they were the experts. After ordering one in and installing it they informed me that it didn't work and I would need either a new transmission or a rebuilt one and quoted me prices for both. Because of the high cost involved I contacted several transmission companies for second opinions and was told that based on the symptoms there was absolutely NO REASON to have installed the speed sensor switch, the transmission obviously needed replacing. Jonker Honda insisted on charging me a total of $285 for this unnecessary repair. Every transmission company insisted they would not have done this. I had the vehicle towed to one of those companies for repair and am very happy with their price (much lower) and service. I am VERY disappointed in Jonker Honda, I have been dealing with them since 1998, have bought 2 new vehicles from them and have had ALL of our service done at their shop. I was planning to buy either a 2017 Pilot or Ridgeline in the fall but I am definitely questioning whether I will go with Honda again. I feel that they took advantage of me solely for the purpose of making money off of me. Had they been more honest I would have had them repair my transmission, just like all the other repairs and service I have had done by them over the years. Either their mechanics don't actually know what they are doing or they just want to maximize the profits and don't care about looking after the needs of long time, loyal customers. More
Promise kept During a recall appointment in January the service person apparently broke a part and Jonker reported this to me and sent off to order the part. The part arrived around March 10th and the service department called and I took the car in the same day for the part to be replaced. I couldn't see the part that had been broken but now I know it is repaired anyways!! More

Exceptional service!!! Not sure of the name off the employee that reviewed my service but explained all that was done and needs to be done in the future. More

I was apprehensive due to fear of dealership pricing however I was offered service detail with price match of our usual service provider. Work was thorough, accurate as to estimate of downtime and recommendations with pricing of required future service were given. We were given accurate information as I've already had insight on some deficiencies from my recently retired private mechanic. I really appreciated the honest and thorough service. Only complaint was after my repeated warnings that my wife would need the courtesy shuttle, the shuttle person told my wife they had no information of that request. Otherwise a very pleasant visit. More

I have a 2004 CRV-- Time for an oil change at 135,000 K, swap Snow Tires (on rims) for my summer and nicer Honda wheels, and fix the driver's door loc I have a 2004 CRV-- Time for an oil change at 135,000 K, swap Snow Tires (on rims) for my summer and nicer Honda wheels, and fix the driver's door lock which fell or was pushed inside the door...possible attempted break-in?? brought my book, relaxed in the lounge, made a cuppa VanHoutte coffee and also read the complimentary Vancouver Province.. job was finished in the estimated time, car was washed & vacuumed, I paid my bill and headed out. Service staff were very helpful & cheery. Will definitely be back for more. More
