Went in to see if a technician would have the time to check and see if the alternator on my daughters Civic was charging. They said sure. It took about 10 minutes and the technician brought it back aroun check and see if the alternator on my daughters Civic was charging. They said sure. It took about 10 minutes and the technician brought it back around to the front of the dealership with word that yes it is charging but told me that the battery was weak and I should consider replacing it. When asked about cost, he said there was no charge. To me, that was courteous , a service for the sake of service. Not sure another place would have been that ready to help. Thanks again More
After a recent accident, my truck was totaled. While seeking a slightly used car Pembroke had what I was looking for. Customer service was relatively quick due to Christmas and New Year holidays. While seeking a slightly used car Pembroke had what I was looking for. Customer service was relatively quick due to Christmas and New Year holidays. I only put a few Kms on it so far and seems to be great so far. Having asked for all my requests concerning the car they were all met quickly and professionally. This will be my 7th Honda and probably won't be my last. Thanks Ralph and the team at Pembroke Honda. More
Absolute garbage dealership. Scammed me at purchase to spend more money (said I had no plates when I did) and screwed me with my breaks. Went in over 5 times saying my breaks wer Scammed me at purchase to spend more money (said I had no plates when I did) and screwed me with my breaks. Went in over 5 times saying my breaks were squealing and grinding. They told me nothing was wrong, “replaced” my breaks each time and sent me on my way. Later I went to a different dealership where they told me my back calliper was seized and my front rim had issues as well. Called Honda to get them to pay for the fixes and they denied there was anything wrong, lied about my warranty and left it at that. Going to contact Honda Canada to deal with this. Never go to Pembroke Honda! More

Scam artists! Charging $10,000 more for a used 2021 Subaru than a new 2023 model! While we are all aware we are currently in a seller's market, the shameless gree Charging $10,000 more for a used 2021 Subaru than a new 2023 model! While we are all aware we are currently in a seller's market, the shameless greed of this dealership exceeds the bounds of decent business practice. Do your research before buying and look elsewhere, or better yet, wait if you can for current market conditions to correct when buyers needn't put up with these total rip offs!! More
Folks here is an email I sent recently out of pure frustration. Although I attended the dealership a couple of days later because I heard nothing back BUT I was assured I would would hear back from Mo frustration. Although I attended the dealership a couple of days later because I heard nothing back BUT I was assured I would would hear back from Moe in the short term to resolve. Hmmmm....well I am still waiting. What a way to run a service department. No wonder they spend so much on radio advertising trying to rope in the unsuspecting. Rather insidious I'd say. Stay away from this entire automotive group is my reco!! We have not met personally at the dealership but I thought I would let you know why my visits there have diminished over the years. I can tell you that my enthusiasm with Pembroke Honda took a real hit when a simple B1 service and multipoint inspection that was included left me stranded on highway 17 as soon as I got to it after leaving there. My inspection of the engine compartment revealed the serpentine belt was missing. According to your then service manager that should have been caught by the technician. At this same service appointment I decided to have the plugs changed out only to find two months later, once again stranded, that they were installed finger tight. What entailed was another tow truck and several coils being replaced as the originals were toasted because of the exhaust gases passing up the tube and overheating them. That was my cost at Doug's Automotive in Renfrew. There have been three occasions now where parts were to be ordered that never were including a recall service on the push button ignition. What really gauls me is the same service attitude toward my daughter who purchased a new Civic from you. She was having endless issues with it and each and every time it was to be corrected it was not. In fact it became so absurd that she finally threw her hands in the air at your Nissan outlet only to be appeased by Jimmy by being sold a new Rogue with the Civic trade. Just think of the debt that she has been put in largely because of the really questionable service attitude that exists at Pembroke Honda. Another recall on my Fit left me having a repaint of several panels. Quite a simple exercise however after doing all the leg work I sat here for weeks wondering when or if I should take it in for repair. Later on I called Lindsay to find out. She said just take it in. No phone call, no email.....did she even give a hoot if I hadn't called. Six weeks ago I arrived there for a scheduled service expecting a loaner that Tiffany had arranged. Well once again whomever served me at the service counter said there was no loaner. So I left but not before I asked that pictures be taken of the latest peeling paint. She said just take it to Carstar and they'll produce the estimate and photos and send the file to us. Fine, that is how I handled it. Last week I called to find out what the status was on this job and Lindsay said I should have had pictures taken there first. Go figure.....bit of a run around don't you think. Then Lindsay said there was nothing sent from Carstar so she'd look into it and get back to me. Still nothing from her up until this email. I just called Carstar to see if the estimate was approved and after a wee search they said that file was emailed to Lindsay on September 21st. I think you have a big problem there Houston. I really hoped Jimmy Lapointe was accessible by email but that seems near impossible and understandable. But I hope he gets a copy of this because he was not too too happy with what occurred with my daughter and he did what he could at that time to provide comfort. Me on the other hand, it no longer matters. I've moved on to another provider of service and sales. But I'd sure like to get my warranty paint job done now since the estimate has been in your hands for two months. More
