I am very excited to let you know that this dealership sales team was the best I have ever dealt with in all my purchases - hands down. My positive experience started with my internet search where I was sales team was the best I have ever dealt with in all my purchases - hands down. My positive experience started with my internet search where I was able to find a couple of trucks which met my needs. This sounds like something which you'd find with all dealerships but Jim Wilson's team takes the time to add additional details vs the stock postings found on almost all other GM/Chev dealership pages I visited. I then needed to gather information about the trucks via email as I was traveling for work and I was very pleased to have Bernie respond in very professional and detailed answers to my questions electronically...a second big plus on my front. Next I compared a couple of similar trucks at other dealerships and asked all 3 dealerships to give me the best price out of the gun as I do not want to negotiate. I understand the saleman/woman and the dealership need to make money and was clear that I was willing to accept their price given it was reasonable without negotiating (or walk away without discussion if it was not). I had 2 other dealerships not even entertain this approach but also had 2 others which did (I get three options for my major purchases). Jim Wilson's all-star Bernie was one who did obviously. The first price needs to be the best one to save time and efforts on both Bernie's and mine front. I also did this with the other dealerships I selected to work with. On my arrival at the dealership I found that all I interacted with presented just as honest and open approach to dealing with me and REALLY LISTENED TO MY NEEDS! Once I saw this and the truck I wanted at what was a very reasonable price, I started the purchase process that same day with Bernie. I have found this part of the purchases to be stressful in the past and often a deal breaker based on suprises, up-selling etc. A huge WOW yet again with Bernie and then Heather the business manager. I asked a lot of questions of Heather and she was quick to answer them and also to adapt to my style. We worked out the details in record time and she went out of her way to meet my schedule issues which included some amazing juggling of tasks on her part. She also went above in how she adapted to a request I made very late in the process which created much more work for her without even batting an eye...amazing. My last contact was with Larry as I was rushing to finalize insurance for the new truck. He was involved behind the scenes from my point of view til this point and yet when I needed him, he stopped what he was doing and went about resolving the issue with me in partnership - great yet again. By now you know I was sure that this was the best choice of dealerships for me (just reassuring myself of my decision) and yet the story still get's better...I live a couple hours away from the dealership and in order to meet my timelines and help my family out, Bernie came in on his day off to deliver the truck. Now I offered to finalize the delivery with someone who was working but Bernie would not hear of it. Big deal you may be saying, maybe you know other sales guys who'd do it...well I found out at the end of the delivery that not only had Bernis came in on his day off, changed his plans with his wife but this was his birthday! Exceeding expectations is a term I use with my own team and this dealership team has more than exceeded my very high expectations. More
