Our Purchase of a Ford Fusion Energy We were interested in the new Plug-in and Hybrid technology for economic reasons and concern over environnemental choices. We met Rod Mc Leod at Jim Kay Ford and right away we could see that he understood how this new technology worked and he was enthousiatic about what it offered without compromise in confort and luxury. Rod believes that the electric and hybrid car is a great choice for green minded consumers. He could tell us how other consumers were satisfied with the Fusion Energi. We found him of great counsel in making this choice. Rod answered our numerous questions about the range on electric, the seamless interaction between the electric and gaz engine and most of all the ease of driving this new technology. The Ford Fusion Energi drives just like any other car! There is no need to think about the electric or gaz choice. The car does it itself. Rod explained how to get most for our money when using it; plug it to use the advantage of the battery. He also emphasized that we could program the car to charge in the low electricity rates in the evening. You dont need special electric installation either, as long as you have a dedicated circuit, you can use the charge cable provided with the Fusion. Although a special charging station charges faster. Rod also took the time to help us choose the options we wanted and didn't pressured us in any way. He was available to help us and to meet our needs. Our favorites are the rear camera in COLOR! and the self dimming left side and rear view mirror. We have been driving the car for a few weeks and we must say that it is like driving a dream. We got the car in June and we barely use gaz on short trips around the home. On our first long trip , after 39 km the battery needed a charge and the gaz engine picked up and took over to keep the car in motion and charge the battery at the same time. when the battery is full, the gaz engine shuts down and the electric engine takes over. All this happens seamlessly, no need to do anything special! We keep the EV setting on AUTOMATIC. We averaged 3,9 l / 100km on gaz ! A very nice surprise. We are very satisfied with the care Ford took for green minded drivers, they tough about many details: how to maximise the range of the electric mode. The car helps us analyse our electic and gaz use per trip. The Fusion also trains us to maximise energy returns when breaking, accelerating and cruising. Even our teenager us eager to get 100% on breaking. We are more concious of the impact of a heavy foot on the accelerator pedal. The overall details on the car aesthetic are superb, the ambiance lighting at our feet an in the door are beautifull. We got the Titanium edition and it is very luxurious! We dont envy any other luxury cars; they still consume a lot of gaz and pollute more. We dont have Tesla envy either; we got more range with the gaz engine. There is no need to rush in such a beautifull car, it is a fanstastic drive. One last note. The French booklet was very thick compared to the English booklet but it was printed on a better quality paper. We like it. More

He didn't pressure me, let me ask questions and did everything he could to make sure my experience was fun. Once I bought the vehicle and went to pick it up, he took the time to sit down with me in the car and go through all the gadgets that new cars have now. He also followed up with my first service appointment. Couldn't ask for anything more. I felt like an equal and not just another woman coming in to purchase a car. That is the rare sales ability possessed by Kurtis. All my proposals and questions were treated with the utmost respect. When I test drove a vehicle, I was accompanied by two family members...my daughter expressed how nice it would be to purchase a car from Kurtis. It worked out well for everyone concerned as Kurtis handed over the keys to our vehicle purchase. I am not easy to satisfy, and Kurtis you made it happen with ease.
