Staff is really nice and friendly. But they sold me a used car which was plagued with problems. This car was getting repaired every second week and broke down after 2 months and after But they sold me a used car which was plagued with problems. This car was getting repaired every second week and broke down after 2 months and after driving 1000 km . Another workshop/ garage checked this car and estimated costs now will be over 4000.- $. Lost a lot of money. Will not recommend this dealer to my neighborhood, family and friends. Sorry More

We came in from Nanaimo to Island Honda. I knew it was going to be long day and had my car buying thinking mind in place. Took two vehicles for a test drive and the Jeep Compass was a charm. There was no hard selling or pressure. That was important to me so we could make the right choice. Kevin the sales rep and Nick in the finance department made it all happen pain free...if one is thinking about buying a good used or new vehicle go talk to them first....it's worth the drive to Comox Valley. In spring 2019 my daughter went to trade in her 1996 Civic, with no technology, for a newer model. Scott showed her a 2016 Fit which she decided to buy. Once the decision was made she was referred to th Civic, with no technology, for a newer model. Scott showed her a 2016 Fit which she decided to buy. Once the decision was made she was referred to the ‘paperwork person’ and left to figure out the new technology for herself. When Scott was asked how to turn the car on he grudgingly showed her and then walked away, after all he had his commission! Most disappointing for me, her mother, a customer at IH since 2007. Would not recommend Scott to anyone. More

What a difference. No hassle, no pressure, just a nice overall great experience. I explained that I knew what car I wanted and who ever gave me the best trade in price is where I would buy. I also explained that I don't do the Mexican barter game. They offered a great price right off the bat, and our deal went smoothly, with out any drama. Great sales, not so great anything else Went in to buy a car. Dealt with Colton who was very nice and super knowledgeable! I decided to buy and was directed to the finance guy Larry who was Went in to buy a car. Dealt with Colton who was very nice and super knowledgeable! I decided to buy and was directed to the finance guy Larry who was rude and condescending. Some things that I was told was included by the sales team, were denied by Larry....I wasn’t sure if I had understood the sales team Incorrectly so went with it. It wasn’t until a week later I found out that Larry scammed me. I’m glad I stayed for Colton and the sales manager as they were great, but I would NOT go back and deal with their finance.l dept. I have bought a Toyota, kia and Chevy, used and new, and all those dealerships were very nice and worked with the customer to help them get into the car they wanted. That was NOT the case with Honda. Would follow Colton to another dealership, but unsure if I would go back to Island Honda . More
