I've dealt with several major car dealerships over the years and my experience has always been 'so-so', often leaving with a 'negotiated-settlement' for a car deal where it was clear the dealer's interests came first. But, alas, not so at Island Chevrolet. No pressure and all the employees work as a team. My wife and I were very impressed with the purchasing experience and even more impressed with the great deal on the 2015 Camaro! Not only did we get a sweet deal on a beautiful car, we also received a FREE trip to Las Vegas...and what's more, there were a couple of small 'issues' with the car we noticed after the sale. No problem, all taken care of at no extra cost. If you're looking for a new or used car, I would highly-recommend Island Chevrolet. By the way, we live in Victoria and it was a real treat not having to battle downtown traffic, and Island Chev is beside the Trans Canada, so no issues trying to finding a suitable road for a test drive:) Thanks.....Don and Glenda Rosberg! However with each person I dealt with, from the salesmen, to finance, parts and the shop, the feeling dissolved away. I had to return a few times to have some items addressed with my truck and I continued to be treated the same as when I first walked in. Pushy and passive aggressive I did not appreciate the passive-aggressive email I received from Jeremy after I chose to purchase elsewhere. Apparently the fact that I made my final I did not appreciate the passive-aggressive email I received from Jeremy after I chose to purchase elsewhere. Apparently the fact that I made my final decision on another car after regular business hours and informed them at my first real opportunity was insufficient. Honestly, what could possibly be accomplished by emailing me to tell me how to better handle things in the future? Certainly not my business! I am planning to purchase another vehicle in the next year or two and I will definitely look elsewhere. With so many dealerships on the island, why go somewhere with high-pressure tactics and such poor customer service skills? (Ashley was lovely, though.) More

After 3 weeks they are suggesting they see the car, after many conversations on what to do and what accountability they may have. A lot of deflection and the cost to me is not affordable. A company that claims this car is smart enough to tell you anything that is wrong with it and claims to always put customers first, is falling short in this case. More
