I own a Yukon Xl with nine seats and have 5 children in car seats. I was promised at time of purchase that I would have a comparable vehicle whenever I take my vehicle in for service. This time was not something I needed fixed that I did. This was a recall and parts failed. A Subaru forrestor does not fit the bill. I could only get two car seats in the vehicle. Even with my other vehicle we were only able to take a total of four car seats with us which meant we had to make arrangements to leave a child with my oldest daughter which was a pain in the xxx as the kids had visits and appointments to go to. It was a huge inconvenience as they had to wait for the part to come in and both Tanya and Kevin wanted to fly the part in but GM Canada didn’t authorize it I am truly frustrated with the service that we got from GM Canada. The dealership tried what they could to help us out. I will never buy another GM product or refer anyone to GM. More

Jackie was the sales person and Alexia was the money ($$$) lady! Jackie was more than knowledgeable and was able to effortlessly get our deal done quickly. It was a little more complicated as we traded in two vehicles. Alexia was quick and so efficient with the numbers game. Ciana was very patient with me when she went over the vehicle with me. Patience is not my strong point, so Island GMC is a good place for me to deal with. Other staff such as Mike & Masood deserve honorable mention (good job guys, but the ladies have you beat!!) Simply stated, great people and excellent service. That is why we continue to be customers of Island GMC. More
