But then once the complete them you find out they cost you an extra $10,000. So now your final sale price is double! $35,009!!!! For a used vehicle! They scam people! Stay clear!!! More
My Wife wanted to take a look at a QX50 and They decided we must be shmucks, we saw a QX50 we liked and sat down with their salesman and found out it was waaay over our price range so we took a look at a us we must be shmucks, we saw a QX50 we liked and sat down with their salesman and found out it was waaay over our price range so we took a look at a used one. They had it waay too over priced for what it was worth in my opinion! It had side window damage, paint damage, and was really basic. They took my wife’s ID to show her a power point and ensure that we wouldn’t leave. Side note: my wife is not a car person, nor is she someone who can sniff out manipulation. I had to leave to pick up my truck from the Toyota next door as it was getting serviced. They immediately took advantage of the situation and told her that the used QX50 we just saw was a highly sought after SUV and that if she wanted it she needed to put down $5000. They failed to tell her that it was non-refundable if we were the reason the sale didn’t go through; until I returned. By just looking at the QX50 I knew it wasn’t the vehicle for us. And after speaking with my wife she agreed. So in order for us to get our money back we either had to force the lack of sale on them, or buy a vehicle… as hard as I tried we had to buy a Jeep compass. We took it for a test drive and it looked like a sound vehicle, but when I asked about a dash light being on (now knowing it was for the Auto stop and start) the sales man had no idea. We bought the Jeep and got it home only to have issues of Both the auxiliary batteries and the main battery being so drained that they needed replacing within the week of purchase. The fog lights are constantly on, no matter if the Jeep is on or off. The batteries still get soo dead that they don’t even have enough power to unlock the doors, Which led to the next problem of they sold us a Jeep with 1 fob and no cut keys. Meaning we now have to spend over $500 to get a key mapped and cut because when the Jeep inevitably dies, we can’t afford to keep calling a locksmith for $200 to open a door So we can pop the hood to boost it. I don’t know what kind of dealership doesn’t check if the keys to a vehicle are even cut, or if they were just trying to unload this lemon on some poor woman, but it’s not a dealership I will ever return to unless it’s to tell the people who sold this Jeep to us that they owe us over $1000 for their mistake. "Above the call" service from the parts desk! Called for a module for my wonderful, but aging 2008 Infiniti EX35 with 295K on it. The parts guy (John Zajes) was very sympathetic when he had to tell me that the part was no longer available. BUT he also check the OEM part number to see if there were substitutes (not) but said there was gave the me part number and suggested if I'm looking for a used part, that it HAD to be that number. He also went over to the shop and asked the manager to verify if the module was truly "plug-n-play"... yup... doesn't need and re-programming. WOW! That was really nice to do and the extra info will help me in my search. Thanks John... show this to your boss and ask for a raise! /denis More
