Let's start with saying buying a vehichle can be stressful...... very stressful especially when you have a few obstacles to overcome . After going to a few dealerships and having incredibly horrible service I decided to go to House of cars (when my sister referred me to a girl named Lianna) She was AMAZING . ... unbelievably amazing . She took all the stress away from buying a vehichle and had me approved within 20 minutes. Her confidence was very reassuring in getting me approved. I couldnt believe it when she came back to her desk in a very short time and said yes to me buying the vehichle I wanted . Lianna was supportive, caring and so kind . Not only did she help me buy a vehichle while I was in house but continued to follow up with any needs or concerns I had the following few days . She was quick to respond to my messages. Misrepresentation, Neglect and Disrespect of their promises Representatives are hooked to their managers because they don't know how to legally sell a car. They sold us a misrepresented car, with a warranty that wasn't in effect forced by the dealership. We inspected it somewhere else and it didn't pass inspection. When we brought it up to them they told us we can fix these issues, the next we were told to screw off and that their manager has had multiple of the same car, which justifies them not properly conducting inspections. The car already had a warranty, while their own bill of sale has a spot for factory warranties, they never mentioned the extended 8yr warranty on the vehicle. Essentially they were betting on us having the $3,000 to fix the car because they didn't want to have its liability. Darian and Vy are managers to look out for, just buy used cause you wont get screwed over by bad tactics at shooing you off. Considering they did not tell the truth in the sale and we had to purchase a new car to fix the issues, there are a lot of damages that house of cars does to its customers. Think about all the inspections that went through without actually inspecting the car.. Stay away and buy used from a private owner who actually gives a crap about what they are selling! The sales rep was my friend and they were actually cynically scheming any more profit they can squeeze out of a used car rather than actually treating you like a person. Don't buy a car from here if you value your time or money, consider a proper dealership franchised by a manufacturer that will treat you better because they have a rep to uphold. Instead of trying to start a relationship that will last long to let you purchase assets from them, they use your current financial situation to prop themselves ahead and leave you with a car that has issues to be fixed. Second time 'round - Not Surprised Well, I gave House of Cars a second chance... The first vehicle I bought there, was not what I wanted... but I only had a day to shop - as I worke Well, I gave House of Cars a second chance... I was clear that I had wanted a manual transmission, they showed me two and then only showed me automatics after that. It was late 2014, bought a 2013 (basic) Lancer ES - zero bells and whistles... 40,000km, crap CVT engine (which of course they played up)- they failed to tell me that it had been a rental car (thought it was illegal to withhold that sort of information...) for $24,000 ! (these cars were going for about 18,000 off the lot brand new). It had a horrible paint job, which they said that they would touch up and refinish - that didn't happen. As soon as I signed the papers I was of no concern anymore. Haha further more, after I signed the papers and went outside to get the keys, there was a man buying his son the exact type of car I had been asking for lol... but for some reason it didn't exist for me... I had asked where the heck that car was sitting the entire day... they simply said you don't drive standard - I was like, who gives a crap, its what I wanted to buy, still getting my money.... Awful customer service. Now, I just bought another vehicle - again up sold with false advertising (Yes, if you do not know what a vehicle actually has & if it is in working order, then it is not a selling feature( I don't give a sh%t that the safety doesn't go over anything but safety - makes sense - but if you are going to sell features to a customer, you better xxxx well know what you are selling - it's your job)). Avi, the salesman I dealt with - convinced me to stay and buy the vehicle they had instead of going to another dealership with a better price - simply because the one that he was offering had navigation and bluetooth..... (which does not work!!) so I bought it - hail damage and all) It has now been almost three weeks after the purchase and they still have not picked up a chip (yes, a chip) from dodge for the navigation system..... (its one simple phone call). There's also clicking (from the heater fan - I've researched it) that I told them about and they simply said that's not their problem every dodge gets it - That's not the point, the point is it can be easily fixed - fix it. It came with two sets of tires, the winters were on - good condition - they switched them over when I picked it up to the all seasons - back tires are almost bald (The salesman stood there beside the tire I was pointing at, without looking at the tire, and basically said 'Oh no, they are at least 60% tread ma'am, or else we wouldn't keep them on there for a sale'.... they're freakin' bald man... use your eyes not your mouth). They said that it would be detailed... the woman that sold it to them obviously had that done already/ cleaned it quite well herself - they didn't clean it further, there was food all under the seat and crumbs in door handles/ console etc. I will be calling them again today (three weeks after sale) to see about that navigation fix, there may be an additional review. As of right now, I would not recommend House of Cars. More

False Advertising, Shady Dealership I contacted the dealership regarding a vehicle on a the website on Thursday afternoon. I spoke to a salesman named Avi who told me the car was availab I contacted the dealership regarding a vehicle on a the website on Thursday afternoon. I spoke to a salesman named Avi who told me the car was available and booked an appointment for me to view it on the upcoming Saturday. My mother who was helping me look for a vehicle unknowingly called the same dealership asking about the same vehicle on Thursday afternoon and spoke to a salesman named Darius who told her the vehicle was sold that same morning but insisted she come to view other vehicles they have available. I showed up on Saturday to find that the vehicle Avi said he would hold for me was mysteriously "in the shop" as of that morning and they could no longer show it to me. They insisted numerous times that I finance a more expensive vehicle even though I made it clear I wanted a cash deal. The vehicle that I was supposed to view was listed for $4800 but the salesman kept suggesting I finance a $10,000 car. After I left, my mother called and spoke to the manager who informed us that the vehicle in question was actually sold over A WEEK AGO and was never available in the first place. So both my mother and I were lied to in order to get us down to the dealership to look at more expensive vehicles. THIS IS FALSE ADVERTISING AND NOT HOW BUSINESS SHOULD BE DONE. I wouldn't recommenced shopping here unless you want to be lied to or tricked. More
