Terrible experience here. The service department quoted me on a service, didn’t complete it and still ended up charging me for it. Very shady. The service department quoted me on a service, didn’t complete it and still ended up charging me for it. Very shady. More
So glad this dealership showed me their true colours before handing them over 75k. Over the moon happy with my Toyota Highlander Hybrid purchased from Jim Pattison Toyota. The following is why you, too, before handing them over 75k. Over the moon happy with my Toyota Highlander Hybrid purchased from Jim Pattison Toyota. The following is why you, too, might want to consider another dealership. My Harris Dodge story. After my 1st choice of salesperson I originally began to work with was no longer in sales, Issac, I met Max (Nassim) a bright energetic young man. During our introduction at his desk where he was explaining the company had two 4XE's in transit we began filling out paperwork. But then his phone began to ring...and ring...and ring...each time he glanced at the caller's name. Eventually he stated it was his manager. I told him to take the (very odd) call. When he hung up he stated he was being called to a meeting. I was left at his desk with the company paperwork that I said that would complete. It was my personal info related to trade-in etc. Because my husband was in the car waiting I completed it and left. I then received a text setting up the time to test drive a non-hybrid vehicle. A few hours later Alex called to confirm my test drive in the morning with Max. At no time did he or any other salesperson reveal to me or Max that there was any added "Dealer Option" charge. Let me repeat that...AT NO TIME DID ALEX REVEAL THERE WAS ANY OTHER ADDITIONAL DEALER OPTION CHARGES On 4XE's IN TRANSIT. And let me be clear there were at least 5 interactions where that could have been revealed. When I arrived back at your dealership the next morning for the 3rd time to discuss their new electric vehicles, I was approached by Andy that I mistook for Alex...who stated Max was not going to be in that day. Now let me be even clearer...not only did Max set up a meeting via text your Finance/General Manager(?) Alex had called me to reconfirm that meeting yet he was the one that CHANGED MAX'S shift so he would not be there for our meeting??? It explained why at least 2 other salespeople began converging on me to tell me Max was not going to be in. My anxiety kicked in and I went to the only person I trusted in your company to see if they could find out what the xxxx was going on. As a professional CPA/CGA auditor trained in forensic observation...I could see very disturbing behaviours taking place around me. When Max did keep our appointment the first thing he said is "the dealership took a deposit on that Summit 4XE last night, I'm sorry." (By the way, that was the vehicle that I was most interested in buying) and "that it was legal" before reluctantly stating...because I "had not left a deposit". Lesson learned there. I added..."it may be legal but it sure wasn't ethical". And who changed your shift?" He wouldn't say. I kept asking. Alex later confirmed he did that without following up with me as to why. If he could call to confirm, why couldn't he call me back to cancel/change my appointment? Max came in anyway. Being a good salesperson Max diverted my attention to a Trailhawk 4XE that was also in transit...quickly selling me on it. He printed out the specs/pricing. We went over them. He handed me an offer sheet which I initialed. Max took it to Graham. Let me add...I was not negotiating price. Cash sale. No trade-in. Now that interaction with Graham is one I will never forget. He threw out that the dealership was only getting a few electric vehicles and that they would be adding 20 thousand dollar charge for the dealership. I asked Max if he knew that. No response. I asked about the unethical treatment I received on the Summit. To quote Graham: "they had been dealing with a customer on that car for 6 months!!". (Yet the vehicle is online still but *now* with the added $20k.) My response to Graham was "it only took Max 45 min to sell me". I then stood up. Put my hand out. When Graham reached for it...I realized how I was being treated and even lied to and pulled it back I left with my offer in the Trailhawk and contacted VSABC. More
The Harris Dodge Dealership in Langford has tried to rip me off. They made a deal with me, we agreed on the numbers and I put a $5000 deposit down. They then called me back just before I was supposed to pic me off. They made a deal with me, we agreed on the numbers and I put a $5000 deposit down. They then called me back just before I was supposed to pick up the new vehicle stating they messed up and they were missing 4-5000 dollars on the overall deal. They wanted me to pay it or no deal. What a bunch of Crooks with a capital C. I hope people read this and stay clear of those crooks especially Veterans on a pension like myself. Shame on you Hunter, Tax and the rest of Harris Dodge in Langford More
In May/June 2022, we were selling our 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I was contacted by Harris Victoria CDJ by a salesman named Ryan. He wanted me to drive out to the lot to discuss a Harris possibly purchasi Cherokee. I was contacted by Harris Victoria CDJ by a salesman named Ryan. He wanted me to drive out to the lot to discuss a Harris possibly purchasing the vehicle. I told him I wasn't going to waste my time if I was going to be lowballed. He assured me I wouldn't be. When I got there, I was offered $4000 less than what my asking price was on Auto Trader. I wasted over an hour of my weekend time with my family just to be insulted. I will never work with this company, no matter what the circumstances are. (Ps. I sold it for $500 less than my asking price.) More
Sales managers are the sterio typical car salesmen that people have learned to hate. I was dealing on a new vehicle, the dealership knew I was a serious buyer. I had an appointment for 11 the next day, a d people have learned to hate. I was dealing on a new vehicle, the dealership knew I was a serious buyer. I had an appointment for 11 the next day, a deposit so I was told was not required to hold the vehicle just over night. I was told by a slimming manager Alex " it's not going anywhere ". When I arrived at 10 the next morning I was told the vehicle has been sold. No call, no nothing. Sure wasn't expecting a slimy move like that. Don't waste you time at Harris. Duncan was quick and painless. Professional and simple, nothing misleading. More
