They called me to get $100 of service, and $25 off oil change. They sent me a $226 quote to replace a Tom's on tire, and oil change. I agreed, when I picked up Truck, the Tom's was not replaced and they change. They sent me a $226 quote to replace a Tom's on tire, and oil change. I agreed, when I picked up Truck, the Tom's was not replaced and they wanted $350! I complained and brought truck back for free service of Tom's in tires. They said quote was for gas engine oil change, not diesel which I have, and they should know with my Vin which was on the quote they sent me! Honestly this leaves me not wanting to return to Chev dealer, and shame as I have exclusively driven GMC trucks for 45 years so far.. Gord Fisher. More
Had my diesel pickup in for a oil change. Which they then charged me extra for a tire rotation that I did not ask for. I went back in and the service man and mechanic admitted they did not do this work and they still refused to give me a credit. Now I am not sure that they even changed the oil. This is total fraud. They solved my issue and they are working to improve things. Hi, I was there earlier in the year to buy a new vehicle and was left disappointed. Now I have a new vehicle they don't seem to want to talk to you if you didnt buy your vehicle from them. I left a message and 3 Business days later and a second voice mail on the 2nd business day 3rd day still now call back. I talked to their internet chat person and they wanted all the info again. I went in on another day in person and waited for over 5 minutes then was asked to wait for 5 minutes until they finished something up on the computer. Over all Zero service or want to deal with customers. You want me to rate people how can I when they dont want to talk to you. More

My 2003 GMC 1500 4x4 low mileage , There was a grinding sound coming from the rear & I recently had some work done on the fuel tank at this dealership, I thought they should re-check that area. The mechan sound coming from the rear & I recently had some work done on the fuel tank at this dealership, I thought they should re-check that area. The mechanic was working on finding the problem for 3 1/2 hours, 2 times I went for a drive with him in order to try to recognize where the sound was coming from as the sound would come & go. The emergency brake we recognized didn’t work all this time & brakes were weak, After 3 1/2 hrs he couldn’t find the problem and the mechanic asked that I rebook another time as he had other jobs that needed his attention. In his recommendations he suggested they would check emergency brake problem on my next visit. I paid the bill $450 dollars & drove off now knowing there was a brake problem because the mechanic told me so. I ended up at island automotive a shop near by, They quickly went for a drive & concluded the rear brakes were not working & had the rear wheels off & discovered driver side emergency brake shoe was destroyed & that’s what was causing the grinding & rear brake failure. All of this was concluded within 15 / 20 minutes ! Oceanside GM never removed the rear wheels in 3 1/2 hrs in order to effectively go though the process that I paid dearly for them to do. When I returned to Oceanside today with another problem with the truck I mentioned my last experience to the service advisor, she said I could bring it up with the service manager but he was not in. All of this taken in to consideration ) I will Not purchase my new truck at Oceanside GM nor would I return to the dealership. I would be very surprised if any level of follow up resulted in the time & money I lost from this experience with them. More
I must comment on my service experience at Harris Oceanside Chevrolet Buick GMC, I recently took my beloved classic 1979 GMC truck in to get a pinion seal issue repaired, first I must say the appoint Oceanside Chevrolet Buick GMC, I recently took my beloved classic 1979 GMC truck in to get a pinion seal issue repaired, first I must say the appointment process was flawless, Sheila Hopkins my advisor listened and understood my concerns and made sure they had the required parts at the ready for the repair. She also immediately said this is a classic and had the perfect Tech, Brian Daradics to work on it, who did a fabulous job, he didn't even use all the parts that they had at the ready as they were not required. I understand Andy Lankester also saw the truck in the shop and spoke with Brian about the repair. After hours pick up with Janet was smooth, with everything ready. I want to thank all who were involved to make this a very positive experience. More
