My wife and I had a great transaction this last Saturday between Ryan Swailes,the dealership and ourselves. The trade in and purchase of our new truck was very fast, arriving from Victoria around noon, test between Ryan Swailes,the dealership and ourselves. Pretty good service. We have in the past bought another new vehicle for my wife at the Victoria Harris location and had the same great service. Ryan was knowledgeable about the product, procedures and has great people skills. We came back to Harris Oceanside dealership again because of their exceptional service (we live in Brentwood Bay, Sannich) we received 18 months ago when we leased a car from this dealership. During the past year we had checked in a couple of times with Ryan since then as we wanted to purchase a new truck to complement our change to a larger trailer. By the time we actually felt it might be the right time to do this, Ryan pretty much knew the items on our "wish list" exactly and showed us a vehicle which actually exceeded our requirements. On top of the great discounts GMC were giving on their 2013 vehicles, Ryan and Steve put together a deal we just couldn't turn down. Cheryl was very helpful in getting all the paperwork sorted quickly and provided straightforward, clear options for warranties etc.. i went looking to extend my warranty on our 2008 silveradoo, it would cost too much so i inquired about trading it in for a new one, a 2013, at first they low balled the trade in, then upped it a bi silveradoo, it would cost too much so i inquired about trading it in for a new one, a 2013, at first they low balled the trade in, then upped it a bit, that was good, the discounts were great, 7500 off and 0% financing, but that didnt apply to the 2500's, the one we wanted. harlem found a truck comparible to ours but a 2500, and we took a look at the numbers, they got my payments were i wanted them, obviously i wanted them smaller, thinking that i was going to also get 6500 off the truck and .99% financing, but no, its one or the other, the service was good, but gm overall was ok, to the point that the 1500 trucks got a better promo than the 2500's. we did get a good truck, spent more money than i expected, but it was a good idea to get the extened warranty and the rust/undercoating/paint protection. everyone there is friendly, i would recommend harlem to friends. as i said earlier, the best deal of the year promo at gm was not fair, all silverado's didnt get the same promo. More
