A sincere lack of customer service I purchased a brand new car from Harris Mazda Nanaimo in the summer of 2016. Love the car itself, have no issues with it whatsoever it is the perfect car for me; the issues I have are with the dealership. I find them to be rather unprofessional. When I purchased my car I was told I would need to bring it in for undercoating within the week; they would call me and get ahold of me and make sure I bring it in for undercoating. This call never came. I got distracted with my first brand new car. It is not good for a vehicle to undercoat it after being taken through xxxx and back; the possibilities of sealing any moisture, salt, dirt or anything else remain. In 2017 I finally did receive a call from Harris Mazda, but not about my undercoating.. A new salesman was trying to get me to upgrade my car. I mentioned the undercoating services I had yet to receive and was promised it would be looked into. Nothing. I finally decided to take my car to the dealership and ask about it as it is far too late to undercoat my car; I found them acting very poorly. Very opposite from how kind everyone was to push the car sale on me. Not friendly and very reluctant to help me with my issue it seemed. Acted like I did not know what I was talking about I assume because I'm a girl seemingly unknowledgeable about cars. They insisted I had already been there to get these services done, which was impossible as I had not been back to the dealership whatsoever since buying my car. I must cut them some slack as they did credit my loan the amount for the services I never received, but the way it happened was unprofessional and unpreferred. I won't be bringing my car there for any services ever again and I certainly wouldn't recommend them anymore. More
Repeat customer! I bought a new Mazda 3 in 2015 from Harris Mazda. I wanted to trade up to a 2017 and received excellent service from their friendly and knowledgeable I bought a new Mazda 3 in 2015 from Harris Mazda. I wanted to trade up to a 2017 and received excellent service from their friendly and knowledgeable sales person Brandyn Woodruff. The paperwork part was expertly handled by Robert Kirinic. I use Harris Mazda exclusively for service and have always been happy with the Service Dept. I recommend this dealership for anyone who is looking to buy a new or used Mazda. The car is easy to drive and a worthwhile purchase in every way. More

Stay away from finance manager! James the Salesman was awesome and the cx-5 gt was a very nice ride. Lots of thought and detail have put into the new 2017 version. BUT THAT IS WHERE James the Salesman was awesome and the cx-5 gt was a very nice ride. Lots of thought and detail have put into the new 2017 version. BUT THAT IS WHERE THE POSITIVE REVIEW ENDS! We were handed off to the "finance guy" and he didn't listen to us at all. He wouldn't run a credit report on us. He asked me what I wanted and I said a low interest rate. Monthly payments closer to $500 and I was also putting down cash. I also said 6 years financing. He proceeded to give me a bi-weekly quote for 84 months. I said no i want it paid off in 6 years so he said by all means pay it off in 6 years then. I'm not stopping you. It was extremely difficult to get him to tell me what interest rate he was offering me. When he finally told me 3.99% that's when he started to argue with me. I told him I could get a lower interest rate at my bank to which he kept telling me NO, GOOD LUCK. Followed up with "if you put your house on it" We stood up and walked out as he was still trying to argue and prove he was right and was offering us a better rate than the bank would give me. On my way out I took my photocopied drivers license but he interjected with "no no, that's ok" and tried to prevent me from leaving with it. He tried to convince that he was well with in his rights of trying to keep the photocopy by stating that he has 30 years experience. I reminded him that he was trying to keep my government issued personal information without my consent and walked out saying "don't even try it" More
