Routine service for a CRV if I bring my vehicle in for a routine service at about 8.30 am, without an appointment , why is it indeterminate if the vehicle will be ready, later if I bring my vehicle in for a routine service at about 8.30 am, without an appointment , why is it indeterminate if the vehicle will be ready, later in the day, though at about 3.00pm a replacement vehicle was offered. HOWEVER AT ABOUT 8.PM THE VEHCLE WAS READY. It appears your service department is now over worked or under staffed and its main attraction over many years was that I did not need to make an appointment for routine service. However I stress that I received excellent attention from Alex and his colleagues. More

Suggestion: When a customer comes in for service, I wish the folks in service would make eye contact and acknowledge waiting customers. Every time I come in for service, I wait patiently by the stack of tires near the waiting area till I am called up. Waiting for 3-7 mins is not acceptable when the service folks do not have customers with them. While I am sure the folks in service are busy, even if they do not have customers with them, the service folks need to acknowledge the customer (make eye contact, indicate it's a short wait, smile and look somewhat welcoming). And if there is paperwork they are completing, I would think the paperwork can wait and the customer comes first! Looking everywhere except at the customer and avoiding eye contact does not impress me at all. That's what they do... suddenly they become very focused on their phone or computer screen or a piece of paper. I will assume they are busy and I have to wait, which is fine but ACKNOWLEDGE the customer. Don't just ignore those who are waiting for service. Make eye contact, smile, indicate that X (service rep) will be with you as soon as he/she is done. And notify that person when able to. There is so much action happening behind the service desk, surely one person can acknowledge waiting customers? It is not ok to make elderly customers stand and wait if a service person is busy doing paperwork. This has happened on more than one occasion so this is why I am mentioning it. More
