Terrible service . 2 hour scheduled maintenance took 3 1/2. I was not once informed that there was going to be a delay, just left sitting there. The folks behind the counter and in the shop at the service department are "second to none"! Rarely am I ever kept waiting longer than expected for my vehicle to be finished a service visit. Fantastic Service Last week, I went to my car to pick up 2 kids from school. My car would not start. Earlier that day, I had been out using my car for several errands. Last week, I went to my car to pick up 2 kids from school. My car would not start. Earlier that day, I had been out using my car for several errands. A friend picked up the kids for me, while I contacted a tow truck. I contacted the Guelph dealership around 4 p.m. ( Friday afternoon) and told them that I was having my car towed in. When I spoke with staff initially, I was told that the car would not be seen until Monday. I was not surprised but disappointed. One of the two kids that I was picking up from school was an exchange student from Switzerland. We were hosting this young fellow for two months. There were big plans for the weekend including a trip to the Roger Centre for a baseball game. The young Swiss fellow had never seen a live baseball game before. Around 5 p.m. that same day, I got a call from Dan. He indicated that it was the starter and they brought the car right into the shop to be fixed. One of the mechanics was staying a little later and he could start fixing it. Dan indicated that my car would be ready to pick up Saturday morning. This news was amazing. I kept saying "Wow". I got a call from Dan Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. indicating that the car was fixed and ready fir pick up. Thanks to Dan's support and quick action to get things done, the weekend plans were saved and I had a car for Monday morning to go to work. Dan: I thank you a thousand times your help! More
