Headache Started off with just going in to test drive, pressured in to putting money down on something that day (bad on me for doing that). Found a vehicle I d Started off with just going in to test drive, pressured in to putting money down on something that day (bad on me for doing that). Found a vehicle I did like though, turned out to be a nightmare after finalising the purchase. 1) Asked about the shocks - told they were absolutely, 100% A-OK. They were completely gone. 2) Popped home for a quick second, did some running around, came back to an oil slick on my driveway - same night! Did the running around on Low oil in my engine. 3) Alternator failed the week after, leaving myself and DAUGHTER stranded in town. - All of this happening within the 2 weeks of buying it!! All problems were rectified, but only because of the extra warranty I paid for. Had I not went with extra warranty, I guarantee I'd have been stuck paying for every cent. The entire reason I was looking to buy from a dealership was to avoid having issues right off the bat, as they should be inspected before being sold! Would expect hardship from a Kijiji buy, not from a dealership, ESPECIALLY since the xxxx thing "passed" its inspection the month before I bought it. Clearly the Service Manager (one that signed off on the inspection) needs to give his head a shake. More
