New Ruby 2.0 purchase Sales were great and accomidating. They also listen to what the customers are in the market for. SVT dealer? Really?? I decided back in the spring of 2015 to have set of FRPP 3:73 ring and pinion gear set installed on my 2009 Mustang GT. The work was done,and I pic I decided back in the spring of 2015 to have set of FRPP 3:73 ring and pinion gear set installed on my 2009 Mustang GT. The work was done,and I picked up the car. After a few weeks, I noticed a whining coming from the differential. I decided to let it go for a few weeks to see if it would go away. It did not. I am a long distance truck driver so my ability to schedule getting work done is difficult. I went to the dealership and spoke to Heath( performance parts specialist) in parts about it, and was told I should go and talk to service about it. I did,but again, because of my job, I was unable to get my car in. The end of the summer season ended and put my car in storage for the winter. I went back to the dealership and explained that my car was put away and wouldn't be able to bring my car in until spring. Again I was told to tell a service writer about it, so they could make note of the situation. I don't think that was done. June of 2016 I took my car in for a service,and to get this situation remedied. They did my service, and told me I had no warranty on my gear set and the labor to install them. I then spoke to Clarence the service manager,and told him of my situation. He said he would look after it. So I took the car back on July 4 2016. I had to buy another gear set( I still haven't heard if that was really necessary or not) because they suspected that the first set purchased was probably" out of spec". It took them 7 days to get the new set in and set up properly. 7 days?!?! Really?!?! I was assuredback, in June of 2015 , that Freedom had done dozens and dozens of these installations and that they knew what they were doing. Granted they didn't bill me for the 28++ hours of labor, but still don't understand why had to buy another set of gears. Why couldn't the properly set up the first set? The first time?? FYI: I have purchased 3 vehicles from this dealership over the last 8 years. But I am not going to be doing any more business with Freedom after this fiasco!!! I might add your service people and performance parts people need to be upfront with customers. If they had been upfront with me back in June 2015, I would have never gone forward with this installation. More
