I had a 9AM appointment for a recall for an engine cover fix to stop it getting loose & contacting the catalytic converter to catch fire. I had booked for the recall & an oil & filter change since my Dodge Journey was 6 months old.
The service rep. Calvin Damian greeted me & looked up my appointment. He then asked for the mileage, I had forgotten so he looked it up on my car. He then advised me that I should just save my money as I did not need an oil & filter change until I had reached 5,000 KM on my odometer, I had just over 2,300 on mine. He said the oil they now make is much better than it used to be.
He then happily put my SUV in for the recall that just too 20 minutes & I was out of the dealership by 9:20 AM.
I was very pleased.
