The van was brought in to the dealership and when we came back to retrieve it, nothing had been done and we were not contacted with an update. Again, we attempted to make contact with someone who could assist. We finally spoke to our original product adviser, Braydon. He was unsympathetic and showed no interest in helping or directing us to someone who could. The conversation rapidly went sour after Braydon threatened to hang up on us, saying he "can't do anything about it. Things happen." More

I dealt with Rodney and Vladomir for my sales people, and Matt Henry From the second I stepped into Eastern it was nothing but the best experience! At no point did I feel like just a sale going through the cash register, they welcomed me and not once did i feel under pressure that i had to buy at that moment. The staff gave the impression they were hard working, knowledgeable, happy, organized, attentive right from the start with great team work. Chickie was friendly and extremely helpful. She answered questions and treated me like a person - listening to what I had in mind for a vehicle IF I were to purchase one. True interest in ensuring I was happy with my choice and I could choose with peace of mind. I appreciated her sincere nature and vehicle knowledge overall. She went over and above--from my thoughts, vehicle choice, color, helping with sticking within my budget as I am not a bells and whistles person. I am more of a person who is interested in the basics and safety of a vehicle. She even helped with transferring my personal things from my trade in vehicle into--now this is the best part--the 2015 Red Dodge Journey I purchased. I love it!! Thank you, Chickie. Best vehicle purchase experience of my lifetime The first time I bought a vehicle at a dealership, I dealt with two people. The salesperson and the finance person. They both sold me something. The salesperson sold me the car (which didn't have the features I wanted, but I didn't know what I wanted, and he didn't really try to find out) and the second person sold me extra coverage, but I can't even remember what they look like, never mind their name. That was almost 15 years ago, and this time, I decided to shop around. I had contacted dealerships around the city, and among many reasons I had for choosing Eastern above all the others was the fact that another dealer made me feel like he was going to try to sell me a vehicle before even meeting me - he told me he had just the right vehicle for me before I even walked in the door, after I had sent him an email with a few minor features I was looking for. I don't know about you, but I'm not a fan of that experience as a customer, nor of that approach as a salesperson. You can't tell a customer you have "just the right vehicle" without even knowing what the customer wants! Nicole and I live in St. Vital and made the trip to the other end of the city, to Eastern Chrysler, because research pointed to it when looking for the best place to buy a vehicle (and it really isn't that long of a drive; it is worth the trip). Thank you to Andrew, for taking the time to show me around the vehicle, and the dealership. Thank you to Matt for making the financing portion as painless as possible. Thank you to Antoney for crunching the numbers, thank you to Jim for letting me know that I could come talk to him if I ever had an issue (don't ever change). Thank you to Brad for being there to support everyone else, and for the part the customers don't see, in helping the deals get done (I'm sure you had a hand in it that I didn't see), and thank you to the entirety of the staff we had the pleasure to meet (Andre who had to be named, and those who I didn't get all their names, Julia, etc - yea, I'm good with faces) ;-) . Everyone was friendly and courteous, and they did what they could to get Nicole and I the best deal we could have hoped for in as short a time as possible. Nicole and I had discussed buying a new vehicle over the last few years, but we only got serious with our search for a vehicle (and researching where to buy it) as of the Wednesday, and we went from walking in the door at Eastern (Friday afternoon) to driving away as owners of the vehicle of our dreams in less than 24 hours (on the Saturday). Everyone did what they could to make the process painless, they answered all of our questions, and we had a lot of those (with more to come, because the truck we bought has so many features, and they provided such great customer service). We expect the service department will be the same to deal with, as I can't imagine anyone working there who isn't worthy of the high praise I am heaping on them. They are in the people business, and they 'get it'. Even if we ever did have a complaint, I know we could talk to any of the people I've mentioned to have them set things right. They went out of their way to make us feel that comfortable, and money can't buy that. Send them an email, give them a call, or just drop in, and I'm betting you'll find someone greeting you with a real smile (not that fake 'salesman' attitude you might find somewhere else). We love our new Ram 1500 Laramie Limited and are grateful to have had the experience we went through with Eastern. Thanks again Eastern staff.
