After my bitter experiences is the past, my impression was that, car dealerships were dangerous places and if you are not extremely cautious and well prepared, they will take advantage of you. At Downsview, I had a totally different experience. The sales executive Sayed, was very helpful in leading me to make the right decision. For him, it was not just another sale...but building a relationship. That is how it should be. Even though I live in Brampton, which is around 40 km from downsview, the next time me or my friends need to buy a car, Downsview and Sayed will be the first place and person we will approach. More

They work collaboratively and are not each vying for my attention to the detriment of one another. They walk you through the entire process of buying a new car and are very patient; in both cases I was a demanding customer, i.e. took the car at least 4 test drives, sat in it hundreds of times, adjusted everything about the seat etc. Dominic and Jacob are great and worked with me through it all! I am very happy with my Fiat 500 Abarth (it's a decked-out beast of a car with a turbo engine and every driver comfort feature I could get!) More

Sandro, my service advisor, has been excellent, looking after me, and when a warranty issue arose, Jacob stepped in, and has gone the extra mile to show that my business is important to them. I understand that issues can arise, but what is important is how they are dealt with, and on that front, I am a happy satisfied customer. More

All staff with whom I deat: Sales Person Gulnara Ovezova, Sales Manager Eli Tamam, Finance Manager Masoud Asgari and Vice President Carlos Baptista are willing and able to listen carefully to the client, ready to help and find the best solution for the client. I bought a car and came out of the salon with a feeling of immense gratitude. I will recommend this salon to all my friends. Once again thank you very much for the excellent service! Armen More
Not a good experience I will not be purchasing a vehicle from this dealership again. I will not recommend this dealership to any family or friends. Purchased a brand new I will not be purchasing a vehicle from this dealership again. I will not recommend this dealership to any family or friends. Purchased a brand new 2016 dodge challenger scat pack. Specifically ordered the car brand new from the Chrysler factory to avoid dealing with any issues. The salesman initially got me to come in to the dealership by quoting me over the phone for a lower rt model, even though I specifically asked him to quote a "scat pack shaker". After discussing the right model, I decided to proceed with them anyway because the pricing was the same as I was getting from another dealership I was talking to, only Downsview guaranteed a faster delivery. The other dealer offered to discuss pricing, however I decided to stick with Downsview because at the time I felt like they had taken the initiative to work with me. Salesman did not know much about the car. I seemed to know more than him. He showed obvious signs of being annoyed anytime I would confirm the specifics of the vehicle just to make sure, because he clearly did not know. Little things, such as my employee discount due to my work affiliation, were being overlooked. Even though I brought up the subject multiple times. I initially felt good about dealing with them, however after further interactions I did not want to continue with them. I asked nicely for my deposit back minus any damages in order to purchase the vehicle elsewhere, but the manager refused. He assured me that I would get the car just the way I wanted. When I went to pick the car up, I noticed the front lip spoiler had scuff marks on the left and right corners. I am positive the salesman also noticed. I figured at the time that I could wipe off the damaged plastic myself, was tired of dealing with Downsview Chrysler. The damage did not seem like a big deal. However, when I got home and tried to wipe off the white marks, I then noticed and felt more severe damage underneath. I emailed the salesman right away. He initially gave no push back. He offered to have their bodyshop fix the damage. I contacted the bodyshop, and the man in charge advised that the part needed to be replaced, which would require manager approval. Part only costs $100. I contacted the manager, and he accused me of causing the damage myself. Not true. I emailed the salesman again, and he then also accused me of causing the damage myself. That was extremely infuriating. I called him. After raising voices at each other for about 10 mins or so, he then said he believed me, however the decision was not up to him. After multiple back and forth interactions, the manager offered to cover the cost of the part, but I would need to cover the cost of labour. Cost of labour was $100, which basically means I am paying for the part myself. I ordered the car brand new from the factory to avoid dealing with any issues. I was unaware that a BRAND NEW car would need to be fully inspected for damages before driving off the lot. I payed the $100 to have the part replaced, simply because I want the vehicle to be in brand new condition. Very, very unfair. The guy that sells the extended warranty was very nice. The front desk reception lady was very nice. A couple of the service and body shop guys that I spoke with were very nice as well. Dealing with the salesman ( who seems to have had issues with other clients based on earlier reviews. Refer to Ben Goldberg's review) and the manager was extremely frustrating. The manager did seem sincere at times, though I felt like I was being tricked in to covering the costs of damage that they did, out of my pocket. Very bad client experience. More
