When I was looking for my very first Brand New Car, I knew it had to be a Volkswagen. I wanted quality,comfort,style and I wanted something that I knew would retain its value.I chose Don Valley Volkswage knew it had to be a Volkswagen. When I bought my car (a lovely Jetta) Emil Paloma was my Sales Adviser. I don't know if that's his official title, but he was so much more than a Car Salesman. He helped me every step of the way, helping me make the decision of which Jetta was best for me and making sure I got the Colour I wanted. (silly, but true, the colour was Really important to me). He treated me with respect and more importantly, he treated my 2 Teens (aged 14+16) respectfully. They both plan on buying VW's when they're ready to buy.(and Yes, it will be from Emil) To let you know how impressed I was and am with Emil, I referred my Boss to him, and she happily bought a Jetta from Emil at Don Valley Volkswagen too. As far as the service department goes, they are terrific. They remind me via e-mail and phone when it's time to get my oil changed or winter tires changed, and always get my car back to me when they say it will be ready. I also love that it's always clean and fresh smelling. I am a Realtor, and I know the value of customer care. I have a great deal of respect for companies and individuals who go that extra mile to make sure that their clients are Thrilled with their experience. Don Valley Volkswagen has my business for LIFE. As for the car (2012 Golf, sportline), when you look into what you get and the quality it is a really good 'bang for the buck'. It won't be the cheapest car out there but money is not everything. It rides solid with great handling and worth the extra money. 6 months driving this car and it still feels like the day it left the dealer. Do not hesitate to go to this dealer is looking for a car. I arrived at the dealership looking at vw's and was met by a smiling Chloe Molloy. She was very approachable and easy to talk to. We test drived several cars. So I needed a car. Chloe was knowledgeable and resourceful about the delaership and the process of buying a new car. I felt relieved that it was not a pressure sale but one that I was comfortable with. The finalization of the deal with the business manager was very thorough and timely. I received my new Jetta just 5 days later and of course it is a fabulous car. I'm looking forward to dealing with this location very much. I came into VW very hesitant to purchase as I do qualify for the family discount at Honda as my Dad works for the company. He took the time to listen to my needs and after I told him I could get a discount on a Honda he didn't walk away which has happened at other dealerships. Instead he helped me compare the two vehicles in consideration and never once knocked the competition he informed me of all the features and benefits of a VW and even those shared with the civic. In the end his confidence in the Jetta and how comfortable he made me feel in making such a big decision is what won me over not to mention I know for a fact he tried his hardest to get me the car I wanted for the price I could afford. We settled on the price for the car over the phone with no games being played. I then came to the dealership thereafter to sign the paperwork. Bought a new Golf TDI from this dealer back in January, and requested that the vehicle be factory made, resulting in an anticipated three month wait for the car. The car was delivered without issue on the date specified at the time of purchase and Chloe was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. Chloe promised to throw in a free first oil change, as a goodwill gesture. When I took the vehicle in for its first oil change at 8000 kilometres I was not going to ask for it, as thats not the kind of person I am. Without even showing proof of purchase, the gentlemen who I spoke to about the change said it would be complimentary, then offered me a free shuttle to my workplace. Incredible service overall and would absolutely recommend this dealer to a friend. I am loving the car as well, it drives beautifully. More
