Leased a vehicle from this dealership and been having a horrible experience with them for the pas three & half years. Sales team are extremely pushy, not to mention they harass you with phone calls. I decide to sign the lease papers and went into the finance manager's office, manager brought in another guy into his office (their excuse they were training him for assistant finance manager) keep in mind I'm a young lady signing lease papers on my own with two guys in one office. Then the pressure began with them trying to push me into buying extra protection and extra cost. Thankfully it wasn't my first time getting a new vehicle so I had to stand my ground and kept telling them NO No No!! They apparently were getting frustrated with me and finally backed off. Two years into the lease the vehicle started having mechanical issues. Took it to their service department and they couldn't find the problem so they ended up changing all the seals in the vehicle. Took the vehicle back to my mechanic and the vehicle was still leaking!! Took it back to Kingsway Honda and got stuck with a horrible service rep. Once they were done inspecting the vehicle their service rep came into the waiting room where other customers were also waiting and the rep asked me what mechanic shop i take it to, once i told him he advised there was nothing wrong with the vehicle and basically made my mechanic sound like they were incompetent people. I was taken by surprise and found it extremely unprofessional for this service rep to discuss this out loud in the waiting room. Took it back to my repair shop and it was still leaking and was shown exactly where the leaking was coming from so finally decided to take it to another Honda dealership and they informed me there was leaking coming from underneath the vehicle and I'm now in the process of having them try to fix the problem. I also called in one day trying to find information about my lease and i was transfer three times because no body had an answer and when i finally spoke with someone who did he sounded like he was in a rush, he asked me if he can call me back in 30 mins and never did returned my call. And lastly on one of my visits to this horrible dealership i was waiting in the their waiting room and saw a customer who was very frustrated and trying to communicate her issues with their front desk as her English was not very good. Once she left I saw a group of 4 or 5 employees gather at the front desk laughing at this customer, I found it extremely offensive and unprofessionally for them to be laughing at one of their customers so out in the open. I cant stress enough how unprofessional these employees are and strongly recommend that you go to different dealership! More
Extra fee when buyout Worst experience ever: i was leasing an 2014 Odyssey and trying to buyout at the end of leasing term. Honda Finance called me I have to pay residual + Worst experience ever: i was leasing an 2014 Odyssey and trying to buyout at the end of leasing term. Honda Finance called me I have to pay residual + $386 (inspection and document fee)+ tax, and told me to make an appointment at dealer. I am ok with that, Because is writes on the contract. So I called Kingsway Honda(where i originally leased my car) to make appointment for inspection. The finance rep David told me on top of residual + $386 I have to pay another $495 for their ends documents and inspection fee. I called Honda Finance right away and they told me there should be no extra charge at all other than $386. After confirmed with Honda Finance, I called back to Kingsway Honda, this time was Michael Chan(Finance manager) picked up the phone. He insist that I have to pay extra $495 if I buyout from their dealer, even I confirmed with Honda Finance. He said or i can just go to other dealer to do the buyout. When I asked him why they have to charge twice of the inspection and document fee, and $495 is not even says on the lease contract. Michael was speechless, only response i got was "this is the company's policy" WHAT THE xxxx I HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR SOMETHING IS NOT ON THE AGREEMENT! I have looked up their reviews and found im not the only victim, they just playing HIT OR MISS, when customer found out they just pushing you to other dealers. I called Honda Finance, reported what happened to me, and they said they will start to investigate. in the end I got my leasing buyout done without extra charge in other dealer. Beware of Kingsway Honda Finance department! BTW their parts and service team is great! 5 stars! I am only writing this review to complain the finance department. More
Sales tactics are aggressive/threatening HORRIBLE experience with the sales team. They claim their customers are their top priority, nothing could be further from the truth. Stay away from HORRIBLE experience with the sales team. They claim their customers are their top priority, nothing could be further from the truth. Stay away from this place. FAKE people who don't reply to texts or emails if they don't get their way. They lie about your leased cars "negative equity" as part of their pitch. Our sales guy Vince was pushy, bossy and rude AF. The whole time he was telling us what we want, did not listen to us at all. The Manager kept our entire deposit saying it was non-refundable and refused to discuss any partial refund. I hope no one has to enter this snakes den like we did. Please beware! More

Kevin Wu is a 5 star advisor (6 stars really) and immediately bettered the offer we got from another dealer, and went above and beyond. We purchased a CRV EX-L and are very happy after negotiating the deal and also our trade in. His manager Michael Tran was also very kind explaining to us our options for trade-in and selling privately. Financial Services Manager David Chu was friendly and made everything low pressure and easy to understand. I think they did everything they could in a professional and understanding way in the whole negotiation process, in which we made 2 visits. I believe we got a win-win situation for both parties. More
Kent your financial manager tump down I went there today to request for a buy out of my civic cause upon instruction from Honda financing thar I have to go to my dealer to do a buy out ins I went there today to request for a buy out of my civic cause upon instruction from Honda financing thar I have to go to my dealer to do a buy out inspection first which I did with the help of Karan Pansear. But before I sign the service paper I ask Karan is there a fee for this inspection but he told there none cause they send the charges to the Sales department cause I bought the car at there location and just to make sure of it Karan called his service manager Lee to make sure that I don't have obligations after the service and was confirmed that owner doesn't have to pay for it. After I almost waited for 2 hours for the service and another 30 mins. for someone from financing to show up then suddenly Kent show up and handle me his business card with the amount that I need to pay with no other explanation which I in turn ask him what are the coverage of the amount that I need to pay. Then Kent said there inspection fee $386, paper work fee $498 plus what ever my lease balance is, but I told Kent that it's already clear to my knowledge that there no fee on the inspection which am holding the report which he even bother to read. Then Kent insisting there two different inspection that needed for me to buy out the car and I know Kent doesn't know his saying. So I go home to check my contract cause Kent told me is in the Lease contract that there's two inspection need to be done before anything else. Right now am paging someone from Kingsway Honda please send Kent Chen for another job training cause of what my bad experience earlier at your dealership persuade me not to buy any cars from this dealer in the future and also am going to be there also hopefully somebody can help me finish my buy out requests before you guys loose another customers. Sales Advi An inquiry on two vehicles indicated the following-Car Proof report showed 2 liens on one of the vehicles and a RECALL on the 2nd vehicle. Sales Advisor Behnam Farahani was reluctant to show proof that the vehicle was free and clear. On insisting that I wanted proof the car suddenly appeared to now be sold. Recall on the 2nd vehicle - once again failed to show proof that this was taken care off. I had insisted that I was driving from out of town and it was important that all documents be in order as I did not wish to return again. More

Day started with setting an appointment at 1.30pm through email and Phone call. Was assured by the lady I spoke to (Romina Ayoob) that the cars I wanted to try (HRV and CRV) would be ready for test drive and to look for sales manager when I reach there. Went in with high hopes to check out on the new HRV. Sales manager says "Hi" and asks another guy (Steven Goh) to attend us. So far so good. I try to enter the HRV and he starts telling me how the HRV is not a good car and I should go for CRV...and that he can give me a good deal on CRV if I were to buy it today itself, since he is going off for 1 week to Hawai. Anyways, I try out the seating and stuff and like it...but Mr. Steven is missing so I can't ask for a test drive. Had to wait 20mins till he came back. Car was not ready at all even after taking appointment. Meanwhile checked out CRV and other cars..because we had come with plans to buy a CRV if HRV didnt suit us (since we were seeing it for the first time...new launch in canada). Finally Mr. Steven arrives and takes us 3 levels down (walking through the driveway and not elevator) wherein cars are passing by (never mind). After a bit of searching we find a HRV. I start testing it and Mr. Steven starts his sob story about how Managers keep changing so often at the dealership and how they had fired 6-7 managers in last 1 year. Gives me e.g. of one Mr. Farookh (some district manager) who was also fired after 3 years. My wife mentions that the front ventilation in HRV on passenger side seems to be too wide...he cuts her off saying that's the design, he can't do anything! Sure...we are not asking you to shave it..it was just a simple question. Finally after all the nagging from Steven and making us go through the mucky garage level, we arrive back at the dealership and I ask for the pricing details. He gives me a price for HRV and when I ask for discount he says only couple hundred. No harm...I ask to talk to the manager. This guy...Glenn comes swooping in, says Steven is wrong...no discount on HRV. Tells us that there is limited stock...still good..and then goes on to add "Take it or Leave it"! Not sure if he was already mad with someone else, but he started the conversation with hostility. Then he says, the wait is 2-3 months for HRV. I simply say that it changes everything since we want to buy sooner. I ask for details and discounts on CRV...he doesn't give it. Suddenly becomes a COP. Have you tried it? When do you want to buy it? today? 1 week? 3 weeks? 1 month? I say 1 week...he says can you make a commitment now if I give you a deal? Feeling cornered I said No...I want to see if the deal works out for me. He says how can we deal when you are not sure...Come back when you are ready to make a deal (still no price)!! Wow...no chance to think...and so much pressure. Then he walks off says "Steven will handle you". Being humiliated I start leaving quitely, but Glenn is giving stares from the reception counter and Steven is preaching us how things are! We had come with a plan to buy the car that day, but the basic questions made them so uncomfortable and hostile that we literally ended up hating HONDA! I still want to buy a HONDA but these guys scared me off. Someone recommended me Langley Honda..and so far based on phone talk they seemed really nice. Hope things work out. Thanks Guys for the arrogant and trigger happy sales manager who want customer to come with a truck load of cash and drive away with a car. Common people are uninvited. Day luckily ended with a good food server at Denman who made us smile. More
