Ok, what's a quote for right now? $6,000 higher than what was on their website. Then I get a call from Will, who explains to me "we can't possibly quote you, or even give an indication, of what we would sell you a vehicle for in August, but I will e mail you a quote for one right now." Never heard from him. Meanwhile, Crosstown was able to do all of this, and were informed and decent people, unlike those at Derrick. I'm happy to never have to deal with Derrick again. More

When I spoke to the service manager regarding this he agreed they didn't do it and he said he would speak to the tech. At 10,000km tires should be rotated. The tech claimed I declined this even though it's free to me and was necessary. The tires were never rotated. Lazy, dishonest service techs (some,obviously,not all) and an absolute jerk as a service manager. More

Trevor "the Dutch Elvis" had no clue what I had in mind and I had no clue what a jeep enthusiast he was. It took him 5 minutes to introduce me to my perfect Jeep. From the test drive to the final sale, Trevor was knowledgeable, energetic and a real pleasure to speak with and get to know. I'm sure I will be stopping in just to visit. Thanks to Jim Hew as well for handling all of the paperwork so efficiently. Overall I couldn't have asked for a more seamless purchase. More

That's what's coming down these days. It seems that a word and a handshake is not good enough any more. Know your product you want and study your product and get all the info you can before going down to the dealership. In other words be wise to their tricks and make sure you read and understand the fine print before you pay or sign. More

Derrick Dodge Takes ADVANTAGE OF ANOTHER OLDER COUPLE (Acting on behalf of my parents age 83 and 79): My father was approached by Derrick Dodge by phone. He (MY FATHER) was desperate to save money as p (Acting on behalf of my parents age 83 and 79): My father was approached by Derrick Dodge by phone. He (MY FATHER) was desperate to save money as power and gas had been cut off from time to time. Derrick Dodge offered to sell him a new car and take his leased vehicle in a trade that would reduce his monthly payment by $40.00. (Forty). He decided to do this without council. As he at the time has just had a heart attack and stroke he had no licence. He also had no credit so he put the deal in my mother's name. (Who cannot read the contract or drive due to vision concerns). Although this may come to naught, I want to register this complaint against Derrick Dodge as I cannot fathom how the sales team could possibly have allowed this deal to progress. It would be very obvious to anyone with character that my Father is not able to make good decisions and my Mother has little or no idea what the implications of signing for my father were. Result: My parents have a car stuck on their driveway which is no good to them and rapidly losing value. AND an outstanding amount owed of $27,000. I don't anticipate any magical solutions. I do however desire that this company is noted as having done a 'Legal' deal that no-one with any character at all would have done. I thank you for allowing this to be submitted. More
