I brought my 2008 Jeep Wrangler (125k kms) in for service because my sway bar disconnect function was not working. Service advisor Sally Dingwall charged me $400 in labour to look at the sway bar and told me I could either replace the actuator (a $1500 part), or they could lock the sway bar in the connected position and ensure the vehicle would be fully drivable. Sally assured me that the Jeep would get me home to Vancouver, where I live. Needless to say, the Jeep died on the side of the highway, requiring a tow and a hotel stay and more expensive diagnostic work, which traced the cause of the problem back to a damaged wiring harness connected to the sway bar, which the technician had either not diagnosed during his $400 excursion under the hood, or had damaged in the course of his work. Shop manager Doug Bealing essentially told me to go pound sand when I asked them to contribute to the $750 cost to repair that wiring harness. Service Manager Chris Jordan encouraged me to sue Crowfoot Dodge in small claims court, in lieu of Crowfoot making things right. The bottom line is these guys are either grossly incompetent or very dishonest, and don't have the integrity to take responsibility for their errors. Either way, you're literally risking your life getting your vehicle serviced here. Stay away at all costs. More
Buyer Beware!! BUYER BEWARE!!!! They are the worst dealership in this city. They sold me a Jeep and on the paperwork they wrote down the wrong V.I.N so I got pulled BUYER BEWARE!!!! They are the worst dealership in this city. They sold me a Jeep and on the paperwork they wrote down the wrong V.I.N so I got pulled over for having a "stolen" vehcile. My Jeep never had registration or insurance sense July 2016. I go into the dealership and as I review my deal to get this all straightened out I saw the MSRP price and the price I paid to be a $5,500 difference ( before taxes and all that). I went to the dealership to have a chat with the manager and they wouldn't do a thing. They hid "Chrysler increases". They told me my truck trade in was $0 negative equity but there is $5,500. As I go through the paperwork there is no paperwork for my truck, I have no proof at all that they even took the trade or for what dollar amount. The manager hid my file, he wouldn't even open it at all or show me anything inside it. If he needed to reference something he would peak it open just to close it and then "relay" the informatiob. Very tacky and unprofessional. This dealership does NOT care about customer service and they will hide money within your deal. Please, shop somewhere else when concidering a Dodge. The GM didnt care to talk to me at all and have been forced to go to AMVIC and the BBB. Strongly advise purchasing from somewhere else. Save the headache; The lot is ugly, unorganized and completely dirty. The sales team including the managers are dress casual and not one person there will respect you as a human. You are looked at as a "SALE" and that is it. I would rate them lower if I could March 27/2017 More
Pleasure to work with Pros Raj was stellar! When Raj and I first took the car out for a test drive, conditions on our Calgary streets were in their usual snow-covered winter bes Raj was stellar! When Raj and I first took the car out for a test drive, conditions on our Calgary streets were in their usual snow-covered winter best, pulling out from the dealership onto the street proved to be a bit of an adventure. The low gearing in the 3.8L Genesis Coupe, along with the rear wheel drive and lack of snow tires, was more than the traction control could handle and the left hand turn proved to be more of long drift worthy of a Jeff Gordon Pepsi commercial. I was just trying to keep the beast from spinning around or coming into contact with the median, not something to do on this maiden voyage, so I feathered the throttle and turned into the slide. The car corrected textbook perfect (this is why they are considered great drifting cars) and the handling helped in our purchase decision. I was having fun!! Raj... not so much!!! After Raj released his death-grip of the door handle, he very nervously laughed and explained how he thought he was about to die. I laughed and I explained that I did not mean to do what I had done, but was in control and knew what to do and it worked out perfectly. The rest of test drive went off without a hitch, dry streets and highways were a perfect test track to get a good feel for the car's handling and performance. Raj and I talked life and cars and returned back to Crowfoot Dodge in spite of the slick conditions, much more mindful of the treachery which lay beneath the warm tires. During the rest of the negotiations and transactions, Raj was full of life and professionalism, even pulling up the Jeff Gordon commercial. As he had never seen it before, we howled in laughter as Raj recounted how he had felt like the car salesman in that video (only for that brief moment, not the whole test drive) ;^D He was such a pleasure to work with, polite and courteous, attentive to our questions and sought answers from others when he was unsure. Well done! Dale Morisseau made the business part of the deal easier, taking the time to call us a number of times to keep us to speed with the transaction and answering our questions with a thorough knowledge base. Worst Service experience ever I booked appointment one week in advance for Saturday (March 18) at 1 pm for my Jeep 1st service , before booking I asked how long it will take they s I booked appointment one week in advance for Saturday (March 18) at 1 pm for my Jeep 1st service , before booking I asked how long it will take they said 1 hour max as it's oil change. Get there before time (1pm) service person said will be done by 2 pm. Wait in lounge or be here by 2pm. Went there at 2 pm he said 15 more minutes,After checking 3 times with service person every time he said it will be done in 15 minutes . Finally got my car back after an hour and 45 minutes. They call it express lane I would call it laziest lane. Completely waste of time for an oil change. Also, I feel like after sales they do not even bother about your car, how it's doing or how did you like the car. They did not even ask about how my new car doing , do you have questions about service. Nothing, got my car back without even outside car wash. Terrible experience, I will never go to this dealership after this experience. More
