Was quoted $120.00 for brake fluid flush and change but then charged $190.00, called the service guy out on it to no avail, wasn't interested in an argument but will definitely not go back to this service centre and will make sure in the future to get quotes in writing. He did not try to upsell me on a more expensive model than I wanted. Shaun was good to work with, although I did have to wait a half hour to see him. However, I was disappointed when, upon taking delivery of my new Grand Caravan, to note that there were no floor mats in the NEW vehicle and was told that the floor mats were extra. This was never mentioned during our negotiations. More
Disappointed once again I went in to get an oil change for my car, when I arrived I was asked if there was any service lights, I told him that the tire pressure light came on I went in to get an oil change for my car, when I arrived I was asked if there was any service lights, I told him that the tire pressure light came on and he said that he would check into it. Last time I was there to get an oil change it only took 15 minutes this time it took 45 minutes.. It wasn't even busy, so much for "express lane" I didn't expect that time frame as I travelled 2 hrs away and needed to be back at a certain time.. When I got into the car I noticed the tire pressure light was on, so I went back in and spoke to one of the service techs about my concern and he said "drive around and it will eventually go away"... Okay so I'm driving two hours back home and I notice the light did not go away so I go into town and asked fountain tire for a second opinion! They took my tire out and noticed the sensor had fallen out therefore it needed to be fixed. I couldn't believe that it wasn't noticed when it got serviced but was happy that fountain tire took care of it and actually replaced by sensor free of charge!! Which I might add is a $70 value ..now that is amazing customer service! Im disappointed in the fact that I wasn't called when my car was ready and that maybe they should have drove around till the light came off and if they noticed it didn't then to go the extra mile and figure it out.. Again isn't that part of servicing a vehicle?? More
Not impressed, I feel ripped off! In July last year, I had went to Al Dewan to trade my 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe in for a truck. At the time, I did not care what kind of truck, new or use In July last year, I had went to Al Dewan to trade my 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe in for a truck. At the time, I did not care what kind of truck, new or used as long as it wasn't white and that it could hold my family as I have two little girls and needed something safe and reliable. Al had advised me that they had a truck that was a demo model, it was perfect for me. He mentioned that it was a 2015 RAM, two-wheel drive but that it would only be temporary and I could trade it in in 3 months for a cheaper payment truck. He even stressed to make sure that I did come back in because it would be crazy for me to remain in this truck at such high interest and payments (I pay 317.55/bi-weekly). I told him that it was very important that I didn't pay the large payments a long time as my Hyundai was already 250/bi-weekly (and under my name alone, bought brand new). Al and Jeremy had put me into a "special" kind of financing that had a high interest rate, high payments so that I can reestablish my credit with Crosstown as I was "resetting my credit" as Jeremy had put it. When I spoke to Jeremy he told me to come back in to Crosstown in 6 months or so and it would be "no problem" getting me into a cheaper interest rate and get my payments down to BELOW $250. I just tried coming back to Crosstown as it has now been 10 months, thinking it still would be "no problem" getting into lower payments and I just dealt with Jerry. Although Jerry was kind and professional, I have been denied getting out of this truck because now they want 13 months worth of payments from me for this truck. I am really angry because seeing as it is a 2-wheel drive 2015 RAM, I discovered that it was horrible to drive in the winter (pretty useless) and I needed to weigh it down with sand bags, therefore my "safe, reliable vehicle" wasn't really safe for my girls or myself BUT because I believed both Al and Jeremy that it would be temporary, I just dealt with it. Now, I am being told that in 13 months I can try to reapply. If I knew that I had to be stuck in this truck for this long, I certainly would not have put myself in a new truck like this for over $600/mth! I am especially upset because if I don't qualify now to get into a cheaper payment, how on earth could Al and Jeremy tell me 6 months or less? I thought by getting through the winter would be better for my credit, but it appears as though it didn't matter. I was told I was paying these higher payments so that I am paying principle and interest. My Hyundai only had around 6000 left at my trade in. I wasn't even told how useless a 2-wheel drive truck was in our winters (why they make such a useless truck for Alberta winters is beyond me). In all, I am very disappointed with my experience with Crosstown. I felt like I was lied into this truck by Al and that I am now forced to remain in even though I am finding these payments very hard to keep up with as they are so high. If I wanted these kinds of payments, I would have liked to have been in a safer vehicle that is worth these kinds of payments. Plus, now when I go into another vehicle, if it is smaller payments, I may end up owing 70-80,000 on the next vehicle because they messed me up with this truck. I wish Al and Jeremy would have either put me into the right truck to begin with or advised me to pay off the Santa Fe instead of making empty promises of just putting me in this "temporary" situation that turns out is not temporary and not worth these crazy high interest and payments. I first dealt with Hadi in 2008 when I had a lemon that I desperately needed to unload even though it was nowhere near being paid off. He never lets me down when I am in need even when he stands to gain nothing personally. Most recently I needed to sell a vehicle and he was there to answer all my questions and concerns and helped put me at ease. Thank you Hadi, you are a good man with a great heart! ~Marcy~ More
