**I was only provided the first name of a salesman whom I never actually met nor made contact with. I hesitate to leave a bad review for the specific salesman as I can't positively say the negative experien never actually met nor made contact with. I'm sure they can figure out where the breakdown occurred if they're interested in finding out why they lost an easy sale.** After visiting a couple of Jeep dealerships in Edmonton, meeting some carnivorous money-focused sales people who lacked basic listening skills and basic knowledge of the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, I turned to the internet where I came across www.dealerrater.ca. I was not surprised to see the dismal ratings given to the dealerships I had previously visited, however, I was pleasantly surprised to find Crosstown Auto Centre's stellar ratings. With such high ratings, they were sure to provide the customer service and purchasing experience I was hoping for. Given that I was doing this research at night and on the opposite side of the city from them, I chose to email them through their website regarding the specific Jeep I wanted. I provided the options I preferred and all the details regarding my trade-in (as per their requirements). I was fairly impressed with their website other than it not listing the options of the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT's in stock. Early the next morning, Eva, their "internet assistant", emailed me with a few additional questions which I promptly responded to. She emailed once more to inform me that a salesman, was working on my request and to confirm my phone number and the best time to call. Again I replied promptly. I was very pleased with her timeliness and overall service. I was especially happy to see a business adapting to technology of the 21st century. Two business days later, Eva followed-up with me to ensure the salesman had contacted me and answered all my questions. While I appreciated her follow-up, I regretfully informed her that no one had contacted me. I double-checked the phone number I had provided in previous communications to ensure this wasn't my mistake, but phone number provided was correct. More time passed. No voice mails received; not even a missed call. I simply never heard from anyone beyond the internet assistant. Eventually I gave-up, reached out to Eva and told her to cancel my request. Crosstown Auto Centre had 5 business days to contact me back for an easy sale. Their internet assistant was polite and courteous, but despite her efforts, a they failed to contact me. In the end, I suppose it's all for the best. If I couldn't convince Crosstown Auto Centre to contact me when I was trying to give them ~$75,000, I can only imagine what life would have been like if I needed something from them (i.e. service on a vehicle). This is now three different Jeep dealerships and three failures. I'm not sure if my expectation of a customer-focused dealership with honest and knowledgeable sales people is outlandish, or if the universe is telling me to buy a different brand of vehicle? I suppose it doesn't hurt to give the universe the benefit of the doubt and research comparable SUV's. Worst case scenario I will return to the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT as my favorite and be forced to endure a sub-par purchasing experience from a local dealer or go out of town to make my purchase. Here's hoping that I just had bad luck and neither Crosstown Auto Centre nor the previous two dealerships represent the standard in customer service for Canadian Jeep dealerships! More

Mike Grant did a great job as a salesman. I had no intention of purchasing a new truck yet but he met all of my demands was extremely patient and answered all of my questions with a smile. I brought my minivan in for a standard oil change, and I was pleasantly surprised by the great care and consideration taken with my vehicle even though I was in the "Express Lube" lane. Ginny went to far as to take the time to drain all of my (very full) windshield fluid since it was freezing out and I had summer fluid in there. He said that it could burst and crack the container. Even though it probably took 10 minutes longer and cost them the extra product (he refilled it with winter-appropriate washer fluid), he was looking out for my best interests, and I truly appreciate that!
