Car salesmen have a bad rap, but they shouldn't at Crosstown, a satisfied and HAPPY customer is more important. And in dealing with Brittany, I think we took more of her time that needed, but she did not try to push us threw, she explained everything with the contract. Will Never return for an oil change Went in to get an oil change on my diesel truck..... big mistake. I started by asking how much this would cost, the service guy wasn't sure but said a Went in to get an oil change on my diesel truck..... big mistake. I started by asking how much this would cost, the service guy wasn't sure but said around $200 which I was expecting. The fuel filter life was low so I asked if it was just the engine fuel filter which had to be replaced, they didn't know so I instructed them to only replace the engine fuel filter. I definitely should have asked how much this extra service was going to cost. It took the tech approximately 10 minutes to replace the filter only because they didn't have a fuel filter in the service bay and he had to walk to the parts department to get one. When I got the bill the filter cost $117.94 and the labour was $74.50!! The cost of the filter is outrageous but how can you justify $74.50 for 5 minutes work? Also, the service guy said it would be an extra $10 to grease the drive shaft but the bill was $20.23 because its $10 for the service and $10 for the labour, again outrageous for such a small job. Total cost was $469.19....Unbelievable! I wasn't informed upfront of how much these services would cost and felt violated when I had to pay for them. I work hard for my money and don't appreciate having it stolen out of my pocket. I will NEVER return to Crosstown for an oil change!! More
