Great Insult It saddens me to write this as my husband and I have been a LOYAL customer to Crosstown Over the last few years we have purchased 4 vehicles (3 trucks It saddens me to write this as my husband and I have been a LOYAL customer to Crosstown Over the last few years we have purchased 4 vehicles (3 trucks and 1 car) and I have also referred 4 friends who too has purchased trucks and suv's ... It was only recently when my husband and I decided to inquire about a trade in and we had come in unexpectedly on a friday to see where we stand... After filling out some paper work we were told we were approved however there was no unit to sell us? We were told to go home and that they'd work on finding us a truck.. Monday comes and I have made attempts in getting in contact with the inventory manager to see if they have found us a truck and after leaving a few messages I got no call in return, until late on Monday evening.. I get a call from a Finance Director saying that they found me a truck and to come in. Now me and my husband asked for details about the truck, and they said they had an outdoorsman available, we weren't to keen on it and we asked if they had anything else. Mario did say that they had plenty of other inventory to choose from.. I mentioned that because its the holidays and living away from the city it would cost me to come in and that I did not want to come in for nothing, we were reassured that we were going to come in and leave with a new truck... THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. We came in and was shown the Outdoorsman, we checked it out and we did not have a "blown away" feel to it. We then asked for other options! Now heres where everything starts to go downhill... We noticed a dent in the running boards and scratches on the paint and didn't like the mileage. Our sales rep went and spoke to Husny who then came out and told us that this was the best truck for us because it fit our payments and and that trucks comes with scratches and dents all the time!.. I told him that we were told we had options.. He replied that I had the whole lot to choose from! Like I mentioned in the beginning this is not the first purchase we've made with Crosstown.. They knew what we wanted, they knew what we were comfortable paying and yet we came in with hopes of being able to see our options and then choose a right truck for us.I knew they had a lot of inventory its pretty clear when you're driving past the dealership however if it was the case of me being able to choose from the lot, why didn't my husband and I choose last friday when we were there?? Husny's approach was very AGGRESSIVE, he literally made my husband and I feel like we were backed into a corner pressured into buying a truck we did not feel good about buying. Buying a truck is by no means like buying a sweater.. its a big commitment and I am truly disgusted at the service that was given to my family today. I have been nothing but loyal and honest and I feel like I was lied to and disrespected. Husny told me to go and choose a truck in the lot, so I had one in mind, the sales rep went and told Husny which truck, he ran the numbers and told us that it was over our price range. I explained to him multiple times how disappointed I was that they weren't honest to me from the get go! They could of sent me pics of the ONE truck they had for us but instead they lied and showed us the outdoorsman and pretty much said nothing else fit our price range. I not only wasted a day but my time and I also have 3 kids I had to bring to the city, Edmonton is a 2 hr commute and I made sure to ask everyone involved if everything was in place but it wasn't. So here I am now upset because of the service I have received. IT could have all been prevented if everyone was honest from the get go, it sucks that I not only wasted my time but that the sales rep did as well and Its not fair to the both of us. I've never dealt with Husny with my previous purchases however today's service experience definitely was one for the books! No customer should ever be treated like they are backed into a corner and what I also did not appreciate, was when Husny told his story about a previous customer who came in with their truck and he mentioned to them to trade in the truck for something newer and then the customer refused... two weeks later the customer came in with his truck and had to spend thousands of dollars to get it repaired..and how he told the customer he seen it coming? I don't need to be pressured into buying a vehicle and his approach was uncalled for. It's unfortunate that our recent experience at crosstown happened the way it did, especially being that we are returning customers our past experiences has always been flawless, so this was a huge surprise for us!! More
