Great help with 3rd Party Warranty - at Service Dept I bought a used 2010 Jeep from Courtesy Chrysler in Jan 2014 I was very happy with the experience I was also able to purchase a third party warranty I bought a used 2010 Jeep from Courtesy Chrysler in Jan 2014 I was very happy with the experience I was also able to purchase a third party warranty on the vehicle – which seemed like a good idea – as it was a Grand Cherokee Limited and therefore has lots of fancy features and computer systems that could fail Boy am I happy I was able to get that warranty... In October my vehicle started to “shudder” when the vehicle was going a certain speed and at a certain RPM. With winter approaching we needed to look at this as soon as possible as the “fix” was to get the RPMs to increase (not a good thing on snow/ice)! I asked the Service Center to do everything in their power to ensure the third party warranty takes care me as I have no "spare" cash - hence the reason I went for a newer used car in the first place. Although it took quite a few weeks to follow the painstaking third party rules and regulations of the warranty - it was covered!! I still had to pay a bit of shop supplies and a warranty deductible - but overall saved me money I did not have!! I was provided a brand new 2015 car for a loaner. The folks in the service bay helped to get all the snow off the vehicle - even though they did not need to. Many of the folks offered me coffee while I was there to pick up the loaner. Ahmed (Service Manager) – was always quick to return calls & ensure I was kept up to date I never had to talk to the warranty people – not once! He took care of reaching out to them & dealing with them. We had a recent death in the family - so life was stressful enough without losing my vehicle for the time - but Ahmed made life much easier - thank you! I realized leaving – that they are always so polite & helpful…that’s when it hit me – they are called COURTESY Chrysler – good name for a company that is very courteous!! Looking for friendly staff look no futher 1 month ago we started off by buying a van from Eastside Dodge. The sales man was very pushy and did a lot of fast talking to make things sound better then what it really was. The said van only came came with one key and I was forced to buy new ones off line. I decided after the headaches that I was not going back to them to have the keys programmed and I went to Courtsey instead. The experience was great from the time I walked through the door. The staff was friendly and was able to help right away. While waiting on the keys I decided to look in the showroom at the cars there and was approached by Brent who asked if I was needing any help. We got talking about looking at a new van and he was able to give us a few options. They even gave us the courtsey of using the new van while ours was being dealt with so we could get home to our kids for lunch. He was not pushy and in no way tried to force us to look at anything that we didn't want, he was very helpful in finding us exactly what we wanted. In the end we ended up purchasing the new van. Our payments ended up being about $40.00 higher but that was not really a downfall and in no way changed our minds about the purchase. Unlike Eastside Dodge where you need to get approval from their "SPECIAL" finance person. Everything was done without issues. They even paid our service bill for the keys, they include the mud flaps on all the vehicles that you buy and we drove the new home the same day. Overall our experience was great and we will highly reccomend them to our family and friends. In the future when it is time to trade in our truck we will be talking there. More
