We met Mike Milne, who was really nice & informative, & especially NO high pressure sales!! We also talked to Chad to finish up the paperwork. Chad was very informative & helpful, explaining our options for extended warranties etc., getting us what we wanted. All in all everyone we dealt with was very friendly, from the receptionist to management. We would definitely deal with Courtenay Mazda again & recommend you go there first. Mike Milne the Mazda man! after i had my car accident one year ago and was doing some serious car hunting, i started looking for a Mazda 3. i had ruled out the competition like after i had my car accident one year ago and was doing some serious car hunting, i started looking for a Mazda 3. i had ruled out the competition like the matrix....this is when i met Mike Milne. he was helpful, kind, and very informative.....he has a way of connecting with his customer that is very welcoming. even tho i ended up buying my Mazda 3 privately because it is how i found the exact car i wanted, the first person i drove it over to show it to was mike...he treated me like he had just sold it to me. he got in the passenger seat and showed me how things work etc. as this is the same kind of car he drives. i know that if i ever buy a Mazda again ( which i would) i would most definitely buy my car from Mike. i was treated with utmost respect:) thanks mike! Talking about nothing related to purchasing anything from the lot we were still made to feel welcome. Barry had offered us a beverage and when we did have a question regarding the information on a crossover they had Barry was very informative and answering any question (good or bad). Trauma-free car purchase. My Mazda Protege had treated me very well for the past 15 years, and it was with great trepidation that I began my search for her successor. My last car purchase didn't leave me with any desire to go through that mess again. I decided to check out the used lot while my car was in for its winter tune up. After being allowed to cruise the lot on my own for a while and get the lay of the land, I was greeted by a very friendly sales person - Gaye Williams. She proved to be an excellent listener -- after hearing what I needed from my new car, she was able to expertly guide me directly to the Mazda 5, which met all my needs, plus some. Once we started the purchase process, I was pleasantly surprised to find how stress-free it was. Granted, it did take a bit of time, but I appreciated the thoroughness and efficiency of the process. I've spent a few weeks now getting to know my car, and I'm still as happy with the purchase now as I was at the time. A special thank you to Gaye for her patient orientation to the car's many electronic advancements over my old Protege! More

So for me when I decided to switch to Mazda I needed a dealership that I felt comfortable with. My experience from the first time we drove up was friendly and very helpful. Barry took the time to explain the different options that was available with the different models of cars and took me out for nice long test drive so I could make sure that the Mazda 6 GT was what I want. Most relaxing and straight forward place to shop for a car. I have dealt with high pressure sales from Volskwagen, cheesy sales from Hyundai, been completely ignored at the local Toyota dealership, had decent v I have dealt with high pressure sales from Volskwagen, cheesy sales from Hyundai, been completely ignored at the local Toyota dealership, had decent visits to Kia and Honda, and even some good visits to Nissan, but nothing has come close to my experiences with Courtenay Mazda. I feel my blood pressure rise the moment I step on most car lots. It raises again the moment most sales folks open their mouths. Courtenay Mazda is the exception for me. Every visit has been a relaxing and educational experience where the employees are more like car consultants that guide you through your options rather than pushing you through them. At the end of the day it feels as if you have been chatting with professional colleagues towards a common goal, buying a car. The service department has also performed excellent work at reasonable prices on my Mazda 3. I have recently moved on to a CX-5. Haggling is my least favourite part of the purchasing experience yet here it was unusually painless, although if you were into that sort of thing they'd probably indulge you! No organization is perfect but Courtenay Mazda has been attentive and quite favorably responsive to any feedback I have provided them.. Particular praise goes to Gaye Williams for the way she has handled this. Great product, great service, great people to work with towards purchasing a vehicle. 1st time Mazda purchaser We went into the dealership just to browse and look at a CX5 AWD. We were greeted by Barry who has only worked there for 3 months. He was very pleasan We went into the dealership just to browse and look at a CX5 AWD. We were greeted by Barry who has only worked there for 3 months. He was very pleasant to work with, very knowledgable of the Mazda CX5. He knew his competition and explained the differences between 2 other manufactures. We purchased the new crossover on the spot. Barry made us feel so relaxed and no pressure tactics. If you want a fun test drive go with him.
