Took Subaru in for scheduled recall, but part not available Scheduled Subaru recall service 3 weeks ago. Dropped off this morning. Shortly after getting home received phone call that service couldn't be done Scheduled Subaru recall service 3 weeks ago. Dropped off this morning. Shortly after getting home received phone call that service couldn't be done because part not available. Totally frustrating as I needed to arrange a taxi to bring myself and disabled husband.home and now another taxi to pick up my unrepaired vehicle. I should have been informed this scheduled recall service was not available before making the trip down and most certainly before leaving the dealership by taxi. More

My appointment was for the Type B maintenance which I was told could cost up to $600. I was informed of what made up the cost so I was fine with that. Preventive maintenance right? However after about an ho told could cost up to $600. I was informed of what made up the cost so I was fine with that. Preventive maintenance right? However after about an hour I was contacted as my car was ready. I was told that all it needed was an oil change and updates on a few recalls. They could have charged me for the Type B service and I would not have known the difference but they didn’t and for that I am very grateful!
