Prompt No BS Customer Service Met my sales guy, and also met the GM of the dealership while dealing on a new truck - I went in having done my research, sales guy knows his trucks, Met my sales guy, and also met the GM of the dealership while dealing on a new truck - I went in having done my research, sales guy knows his trucks, and respected that I took the time to educate myself on the products as well. Set me up for a test drive, and promptly found what I wanted specifically. Was quick to help get financing set up, and arrange to pick up my truck and get accessories installed. GM came over and thanked me for my patience and for bringing my business to his location. Biggest plus was they treated my wife as well as I did, and didn't act like she was there just for the ride. This was very important to me on a personal level. Will be dealing here again in the future. More
The most frustrating helpless experience ever! This was the most frustrating experience ever. Not only did laura Gibbs not know what she was talking about but try to make me pay for things already This was the most frustrating experience ever. Not only did laura Gibbs not know what she was talking about but try to make me pay for things already installed on the vehicle and services not even needed. She would quote one thing and charge you another at a much higher price. She is impossible to get hold of, and when you ask anyone esle for assistance they refuse to help as she is the assistant service manager and they cannot correct anything she has done. Laura kept making everything harder and harder and adding cost for things that were not necessary. She finalized my invoice incorrectly on a Friday just shortly before closing knowing I needed the vehicle urgently for work. She left me stranded for the weekend as she was gone and did not even bother to call just left a email. When I did ask she could provide no shuttle within the week as there hours conflicted with my job but were within their hours of operation. Finally I spoke to manager named Tony Plett who corrected the invoice, paid for my transportation to get there and got me on my way. Tony Plett was a gentlemen and very professional unlike Laura in service. Its hard to believe there is such a transition from Tony on the sales floor to Laura in the service center. I would rate them completely opposite. I would have nothing against recommending anyone to buy a vehicle from the sales floor but would never ever recommend anyone to this service center. Laura Gibbs mislead me, deceived me, left me frustrated and feeling helpless. I honestly felt like I took my vehicle into Satan himself! I am so happy to be out of there ! I will never go back !!!!!!!!! More

Great buying experiance Went to Capital GM on a Friday after work just for a look.... Ended up meeting with Shawn Cook told him what I was looking for (2015 GMC Sierra) informed Shawn I'm a tuff sell also being a sales professional. Shawn and I discussed some trucks and settled with 2015 Sierra 1500 sle asked Shawn to give me a fair price and cut to the chase to see if we could make a deal. Shawn discussed a deal with Colin Scott and and gave me the number I was looking for... I left saying I would consider the offer and shopped a nearby Chev, and a Dodge dealer as well looking at similar product.... I ran back to Capital and scooped up my new truck and couldn't be happier!!! Shawn and Colin are real pro's and I would and have been recomeding them!!! More

A Good example of no integrity and a Waste of time This story begins with an ad on July 24, 2015. It listed the 2015 Buick Encore(MSRP $31 845) with the features I wanted AND the price I was willing to This story begins with an ad on July 24, 2015. It listed the 2015 Buick Encore(MSRP $31 845) with the features I wanted AND the price I was willing to pay. Visited the Capitol dealership on the same day, drove 40 minutes to get to it. As soon as we pulled up, the salesmen (Baboo Gopaul) came running out to greet us before we were even out of the car. I told him about the ad we saw and he showed us the car in the parking lot. I was thrilled. That quickly faded as I realised the car we had drove to the opposite side of the city for DID NOT have the features we saw on the ad. I found Baboo to be very unknowledgeable about the Buick Encore, he couldn't even find the air conditioner when we started one of them. He was flustered and it just wasn't a good experience for me. He did not know the features of this vehicle and I ended up learning them on my own while in the sales lot. After several minutes of looking at the different levels I learned that I was looking for a leather or limited package features but saw the convenience price on the ad. Well there were no heated seats or car starter for this vehicle. When this information was brought to the attention of management they didn't even seem concerned. I would have been mortified for the carelessness the ad obviously showed. They spent the next few hours and days trying to sell me a car that was 7000 more than I was willing to spend! After days of conversations back and forth I was still not satisfied with the price being offered for an error on this dealerships part. There was no attempt to get me the vehicle I wanted for anywhere near the price I was willing to pay. Collin Scott was added to this whole ordeal midway and was way more knowledgeable about the vehicle than Baboo and tried to deal with the situation as best he could. He took the time to drive out the way over priced vehicle that had the features I wanted plus more and even let me have it for a day. I just couldn't justify being mislead and dealing with a dealership who doesnt stand behind what they advertise or at least try and make up for it more than this one. I do not believe Tony Plett did as much as he could to satisfy an incorrect ad. I begin to wonder if this is a ploy to get customers into the dealership and up sell them as the AD STILL EXISTS! I am so disappointed with this dealership and I will go out of my way to deter my friends from experiencing this from this dealership. I hope that a manager sees this post and actually takes steps to rectify this problem. HUGE THUMBS DOWN FOLKS. You had a buyer in your hands and let me walk away and be served by another dealership. I believe in strong customer service and standing behind what you say and advertise. Integrity is crucial in developing a business. I found none of the at Capitol Buick GMC. I have proof of everything I have stated in this review. Please don't shop here. They are terrible. On a final note I did buy my Encore from another dealership who went above and beyond to get me the car I wanted with the features I wanted! I'm happy with my purchase. More
Didn't live up to an easy promise I bought a car from them a year ago. It came with what looked like a very nice anniversary cleaning package. They would give it a full detailing. I took my car back to get the detailing and I guess there have been some management changes. Long story short--they would not honor the deal. The guy I was dealing with could not possibly been ruder or dumber. Really, no sense of customer relations. I had been looking forward to getting this done for some time now. It would have been really nice to see the car looking new. He seemed to be enjoying that he was upsetting me. He just kept saying the same things over and over. He had to be working from the assumption that I was some crazy liar who was trying to scam a free detailing. The kicker was that it was written on my sales sheet that I was entitled to one. He had the craziest lines to try to justify why maybe they did not owe me this. Worst experience ever! More
