Error on there part became an issue on mine. I've been dealing with capital Chrysler for a few years now. I always enjoy going to other dealers when I can but, they are close and convenient. That I've been dealing with capital Chrysler for a few years now. I always enjoy going to other dealers when I can but, they are close and convenient. Thats a down side to there location for me. Anyways on to my point, I booked my 2015 Cummins in for the recent recalls and because I am over the 83,000kms mark i wanted to get a "peace of mind service done" to see if anything warranty related needed to be fixed. I use my truck for work and took the day off to accommodate getting my truck in for this service. I dropped my truck off at 7am with Paul and shown him all my concerns with the fender flare starting to peel, driver side window chattering when it goes down, and box liner plastic caps warping. Along with the recalls. No issues at this point. Fast forward to around 15:30 and I get a call from the service advisor and he presents me with a list of "recommended maintenance items" that will upkeep my warranty. Some of these items were understandable there was a warranty item that my rear axles seals on both sides were leaking and it was covered by warranty and was going to get done. But other items were either not due as per the owners manual for the kilometers and were not due yet and/or I would do them myself. What got me was the remarks on the paperwork supplied about the inspection findings. 1. Transmission due because of milage - fluid burnt/ contaminated. - this is not due until after 100,000kms. 2. Valve lash due because 1500+ hrs on motor. - This is not due till 240,000kms and no reference of hrs 3.CCV filter due because 1500+ hrs on motor. Not due until 108,000 kms, no mention of hours. 4. EGR clean due because 1500+ hrs on motor. Not due until 108,000kms, no mention of hours. So I refused the work as any saine person who can read the book would as i dont enjoy someone trying to take advantage of me. They finished my wheel seals and I pick my truck up from the dealer at 16:30. They placed 4kms on my truck, most likely for test drive but down the muddiest road they could out front of the dealer. Not to mention pot holes galore. So I imagine as I've seen all vehicle bagged out of the lot by there techs my truck followed suite as there is no respect for others belongings anymore. Not to mention that all the oil from wheel seal change coated my rims and tires and sprayed up my truck on there test drive (joy ride). I went back into complain and only the oil change bay crew was there, said they didnt know where the service advisors went. So I left mad, but i guess i shouldnt of had a higher standard than that in mind for this place. Here is the interesting part, I work in Blackfalds. So I drove there the next morning to work and was going about my day when I get a call from Paul the service advisor. I couldn't answer as I was in a meeting and he left a voicemail to call ASAP. So i returned his call 20 minutes later and he asked if I was near the dealership....I replied "No I am in Blackfalds at work" he then started to tell me that I need to get to the dealer as soon as I can because THEY FORGOT TO INSTALL THE BEARING SECONDARY RETAINING CERT CLIP ON MY RIGHT REAR AXLE AFTER REPLACING THE SEALS!!!!???!? So I asked if it was safe for me to drive (I knew it was not but wanted there opinion). Paul told me he would contact the shop foreman and call me back. So I made a call to my heavy fleet service manager (oil field shop, not car dealer) and he told me 1. Not to drive and 2. If he forgot the secondary cert clip he would be fired.... ok so this is serious. Paul called me back and said " oh yeah the foreman said your good to drive" so I asked for that in an email. He said no problem, and then I also stated for the inconvenience in my day of having to drop everything for work that should of been done yesterday I want the services completed off the list they gave me yesterday for free. He then started babbling about people make mistakes and they dont owe me anything.....So I politely stopped him and asked for the service manager to call me, and I would await Paul's email to drive to Edmonton. About 20 minutes later the service manager called me (cant remember name) and he told me "Dont drive your truck back to Edmonton, you need to go to a dealer in Red Deer and explain everything that happened and they will get you in" I replied that he needs to call the dealers and book me in and call me back with which one as this is only my issue because of lack of QA/QC on there end. I also said I want the list given to me as I will be without my truck I am contracted to have available at all times while on duty. He told me he would look at the list and get back to me on what he comes up with. Eventually Paul called me back and gives me the dealer name in Red Deer to go to. 10:30 I went down with my truck inconvenienced my colleague to follow me incase my wheel came off. Once I got to the dealer they were happy to help, disappointed in Capitals team as this should not of been an issue. While she was writing my service form up I asked her to take a look at all the items they noted as bad and let me know what call they would of made. 16:00 my truck was fixed by the awesome Red Deer dealer and they gave me the answer I figured. She told me that they were scamming services out of me as they took a trans fluid sample, little discoloration but not ready for change definatly not burnt or contaminated. She also brought up a valid point if it was and its before normal maintenance period that would flag the my transmission was having issues and they would most likely ask to inspect the internals to find out why its burnt or contaminated. Then she reconfirmed that the valve lash/ ccv/ EGR are all not due yet. So end of the day comes around, end of the next day April 3rd, 2019 comes around. No check in from Capital to make sure I was all good, no call from the service manager to talk compensation as agreed for my time. So now we are here, putting pen to paper to report a poor dealership service department that I'm sure FCA should pull there cert from. I have copied all this as well and I and sent an email to the FCA client care center. Be warned when you go here, it's not a one stop shop. You'll get xxxxxx around, made to feel like your in the wrong. What ever happened to customer is always right?!? Best part of all of this is that I go a call from the dealer (thought it was the service manager) it was a heavily accented east Indian gentleman wanting to buy my truck and get me into a new one. I told him I was happy with the one I had and was not interested, he continued with lines of persuasion and I kept saying "thanks, no thanks", after the third time I said it I got "Fine!" Then he hung up.... like what kind of business is being ran here! I'm sure the reply will be that they rectified the mishap and covered all costs, and apologize that it wasnt completed as required blah blah blah. But this does not cover the fact that if that wheel came off on the highway that would of been a catastrophic accident. They will probably say the chances are slim to happen but I say, "then why is there a secondary retaining clip"? Mistakes aren't acceptable to be made when it can affect people's lives. More

Inconsistent, unreliable Everything started out fine. Was told my truck was black and it turned dark blue but I didn't want to make a big deal out it. The truck was scratched Everything started out fine. Was told my truck was black and it turned dark blue but I didn't want to make a big deal out it. The truck was scratched when I went to pick it up but they fixed it right away. The tires did not have enough air in them so literally the very next day i got a notification from the vehicle saying I need to pump air in it. I had to call Dhiraj 3 times before hearing back from him. Jeremy was more helpful but now for the second time I'm being charged by the old financing company for the car I've already traded in as well as being charged for the new one. I wouldn't recommend to any friends, family or coworkers. I hoped I would have better service and not have to waste my time calling places and pumping air into my tires as a result of people not doing what they're supposed to. More

Upon arrival I was kindly greeted by one of their staff (Dhiraj) and the inquired what brought me in. Dhiraj brought me to the parts counter and kindly waited and asked if I was interested in trading my current Dodge. I noted there was a used model that caught my eye up in St. Albert and we both had a look at the info on Autotrader and he noted that they could transfer it here for a test drive. I figured why not as it saves me the trip. Low and behold the vehicle was perfect! Both their sales and financing department were both kind, down to earth people more than happy to help to get me the best possible pricing. The only item I would make a suggestion on would be during the customer satisfaction report at the end is that they cross check them, (as my vehicle was shipped in that’s what caused some minor confusion as the hard copies weren’t readily available) but all in all that’s pretty trivial considering as the paperwork was promised in 2 days and was provided as promised (Thanks Jeremy) it worked beautifully in the end. Awesome job guys and keep up the great work! More
