Hello Darren, no excuses but I wanted to let you know that on Friday we were short 3 people for various reasons in the service department and lube bay staff were being used for more than just the Express Lane to help get through the work which left us with a skeleton crew for oil changes. I apologize if your oil change took longer than it normally would, this is not typical. As for your air filter, we have only sold 1 of the part number required for your vehicle in over a year so this is why the computer didn't pick it up as a part number we should be stocking. At present no Edmonton dealers have it in stock and Chrysler only has 1 at their western Canada warehouse so they are not a common part but because of your review I have ordered one in for the shelf. If you are interested I am expecting it to arrive at the dealership by tomorrow, unless they don't ship us the one in Red Deer and it has to come out of the US. I hope you give us another try and that we out perform your expectations then, either way I appreciate your feedback. Geoff Haw Fixed Operations Manager

Hello Darren, you bought a used 2014 truck with 98,000 km's on it that the original customer installed an aftermarket bumper onto. Obviously this was not a hidden fact when you purchased the vehicle. You came back complaining of it being noisy which we fixed for free. You then came back saying you didn't like the bumper which we again switched for free. We did more than most would to try and keep you happy but we shouldn't be expected to pay for a new bumper, painting, and installation when you purchased a used vehicle and as you stated, AMVIC also agreed with this sentiment. I told your salesman about the problem with the aftermarket bumper rubbing on the quarter panels damaging them. You guys sent the truck to your shop and they did bodywork. the same day that I picked it up a week later the bumper was still hitting The quarter panels. It was at this time after I expressed a concern about the repair that your sales guy told me he would order a new bumper to which I promptly agreed. When I got the truck back I immediately saw that the bumper that was put on was obviously a used damaged bumper that had tie straps holding pieces of it together. I told Al that he Deceived me, didn't deny it, and he said that's all we're doing for you I said OK where's my aftermarket bumper? He responded "you can't have it". So you gave me a used bumper and kept a $3000 aftermarket bumper. AMVIC didn't agree with you they just don't deal with quality of repair issues, and there is more.

Simply put you can't change what you want and what you don't want on a used vehicle after you have signed the deal and taken delivery. If you didn't like the bumper it came with we could have negotiated that into the deal but the price would have gone up. I am sorry if you don't agree.

I don't know who you are. I didn't have dealing with you which explains why you don't have have the facts right. As part of the agreement (before I took possession) you guys sent this truck to the auto body shop to repair damage to the front quarter panel due to the aftermarket bumper banging into them. It's not my fault you guys didn't fix the problem . After the body work and painting was done upon driving out of the dealership I noticed immediately that the bumper was still hitting the quarter panels causing damage to the areas that were just repaired. This is when Al offered a new bumper. And I get a used damaged bumper with tie straps and all. How is that fair? If Al would have said "here is what we're going to do. We have an old broken bumper that we're going to put on for you and we are going to keep that $3000 after market steel bumper just to show you how we care". I would have said forget it I'll go elsewhere!
