"Service Disappointment"

- Honda Accord 2018

I had some service on my 2018 Honda Accord on April 5, 2019. Since this time, I have been trying to reach someone in service in regards to some questions I had post service. Left voice message with a Ryan, on April 10, 2019 , received a call back on April 12, to my voice mail. April 15, have tried four separate times to make contact with someone in Service and all four times went to voice mail. I also tried the Text us option and still waiting on a reply its been 5 minutes as well?

"Efficient help to a visitor passing through"

I recently purchased a used Honda CRV in Montreal. In spite of an inspection, it seems the defective battery went unnoticed and my car wouldn't start after I stopped at a service centre in Ontario on the way to visit my brother in Cambridge. CAA came to give me a boost and I had to get a new battery in Cambridge. As a result of the battery dying, my car radio stopped working: the screen read "Enter Correct Code". I was dreading driving back to Montreal - 7 hours without radio. Cambridge Honda fixed my problem in two minutes. I could not believe it! Not only did the service technician quickly find the correct code but he gave me the code in print in case this ever happened again! I didn't expect such kind and efficient service since I was only passing through. Thanks, Honda Cambridge!

"Very bad customer service."

I called in to book an appointment at least 10 times between Monday 21st to Thursday 24th. Call was keep going into answering. Finally I called service manager to complain about the issue and guess what it went to answering as well. I tried book service appointment online and wasn't able to do it as well. I guess i have to go somewhere else to service my vehicle.

"Devoted to building positive customer relationships"

I bought my car at this dealership nearly a year ago and have been getting it serviced here as well. I have always found the environment to be friendly and respectful, even when I have just gotten off work (I work a messy job and look not unlike a vagrant at the end of each day). The last time I brought my car in however I had concern which I brought to the attention of Rick. Rick has been the dealer my family has been using for years as he is highly competent and looks out for his customers. He and Ryan, the service manager, looked into my concern immediately and in a way that at no point made me feel belittled. Everything was sorted out in a timely and professional manner. Ryan really went out of his way to make sure there was a happy resolution. The point is, no matter where you go every once and a while something happens that you may be dissatisfied with. But what makes a truly great establishment is how they respond to it, no matter how small and Honda Cambridge really went above and beyond. Thank you.

My family and I have been taking our Honda's to Cambridge Centre Honda for service for 5 years now - and could not be more please with the customer service experience. The service department is always honest, friendly and take the time to fully explain any work performed or required. We as a family highly recommend Cambridge Centre Honda to anyone looking for a place to get their Honda's serviced. We also purchased a used vehicle form them, and it has been fantastic since day one.

"Surprisingly condescending and poor."

I am a long time Honda customer, and moved recently from Mississauga Honda to you. Thus far, I have been extremely impressed by your service levels in every way. But today (Saturday, Feb 10) was different. It has to do with the Service Advisor manning the desk at around 11am/Feb10. (Did not get his name, but he was wearing a red toque). Your other Service Advisor John Soares was within earshot. I came in for three things: 1. Servicing the battery terminal recall 2. Checking my windshield wiper system as they were malfunctioning. (I drive long distances everyday, so this is very important for me.) 3. Replace my wiper blades with genuine Honda parts On the first issue, even before he did anything, his first answer was, "We don't carry these parts, you will have to make an appointment" To which I responded, "I was called by your dealership to alert me that a new consignment of spares for this recall had arrived and would I please come to the dealership to get this fixed?" At that point he goes inside, and on returning after a few minutes proceeds to tell me, "We have one last spare available, so I guess we can get this done for you" YAY!! On the second issue, after the workshop had looked at the wiper blade malfunction, he tells me "there is something wrong with the motor, but I can't explain it fully to you. You are covered under Comprehensive Warranty, but we have to check with Honda Canada to see if this is covered -and today being Saturday, they are closed, so we have wait till Monday" Now here is my question. Honda (through its dealership network) sold me Comprehensive Warranty. However, when there is a need for coverage, you have to check with Honda to see if it is covered? When I tried to understand that fine point better, he responded "Well, we can't remember the thousands of parts that are or are not covered, so Honda will have to confirm coverage" Really?? When I inquired about the wiper blade replacement - he looks again at the work order and proclaims, "Oh, although I told them to do it, I see that it has not been done. I will ask them to do it." Overall, not a great experience today. Oh well, there are other dealerships in the area. Gopal Pulapaka

"Awesome dealership!"

Came to this dealership with a used Honda bought in Oakville. That did not matter. I was treated as a valued customer from minute 1. Surprising really, in these purely profit-driven days. Special shout out to Dave Ramotar one of the service advisors - he is has been great. As well to Donna (sorry donna I don't know your last name) and Ryan Deline the service manager. Even the technicians in the service bay listen and do whatever they can to be of assistance. If you have a Honda and live in the tech triangle of Waterloo to Cambridge to Guelph - do yourself a favour, go to Cambridge Centre Honda! Highly recommended! Mike B
