The service department at cam Clark ford in airdrie is an absolute joke, I’m not surprised I’ve heard so many bad things about their service department. I scheduled an appointment for some warranty work for absolute joke, I’m not surprised I’ve heard so many bad things about their service department. I scheduled an appointment for some warranty work for a Tuesday, I bring my truck there and they have it for the day, towards the end of the day the service advisor calls me telling me some techs called in sick and they couldn’t fix my truck but that my truck would be first to fixed the next day on Wednesday. Wednesday comes and the service advisor calls me in the afternoon to inform me that techs called in sick again and they couldn’t fix my truck (not sure why I wasn’t told first thing in the morning so I could’ve picked up my truck first thing as they obviously knew the techs called in sick first thing in the morning. I’m then told my truck is number 1 to get fixed and they will call me. I received no phone call thursday or Friday (my truck is supposedly number 1 to be fixed but it’s clear it wasn’t). I called back on Monday to see what’s going on and still “waiting on techs”, so I guess the entire shop was shut down for 4 days because people called in sick? Then Tuesday I receive a call that they have a loaner vehicle for me and that my truck can be fixed Wednesday. The warranty issue was my driver side door would not lock or unlock via the fob, inside door lock/unlock or from outside except only by the key being inserted into the door to lock/unlock it which was frustrating. Why was I told my truck would be number 1 to get fixed when it was a week later that my truck got fixed, I was either forgotten about or ignored(if I hadn’t called my truck probably still wouldn’t be fixed). Just really frustrating that I took 1 day off of work to bring my truck in to get fixed and nothing happened and then wasn’t called until the afternoon the following day to find out my truck still wouldn’t be fixed and then being lead on that my truck would be number 1 to get fixed. I should have requested a loaner vehicle from the start and I bet my truck would’ve been fixed in a more timely manner when it’s costing ford money. If there was a closer ford dealer for me to go to I would but I have no choice but to bring my truck here. More
