Incorrect Price Quote I contacted Service explained what I required, specifically told them the detail of my vehicle and received a price for the service I required. I imme I contacted Service explained what I required, specifically told them the detail of my vehicle and received a price for the service I required. I immediately asked for confirmation as I said it sounded to low. They phoned me back and said they had made an error and the price would be 479.00 vrs 439.00. I booked the appointment. During the service I received a call indicating they had made an error and the price would now be 257.00 more. I did my job by saying a 2011 6.2 litre 2 spark plugs per cylinder engine and even with them double checking they still misquoted me. I had phoned around and had other prices for the work so made a decision based on price and my pervious experience to drive from Cochrane to Airdrie to have the work completed only to end up paying significantly more than other quotes. I get it mistakes happen however this was Cam Clarks mistake not mine, they assumed no responsibility for their misquote. They explained how it happened however still charged me the full 257.00 difference. Said they washed my truck and they didn't so in the end this time their service did not meet my expectations. Sharing responsibility and the additional cost would have been the right thing to do. This wasn't the service reps fault it was the confusing quote sheets they provide to the gals who provide pricing quotes. More
