Hi Dkaiser, Thank you for taking the time let us know about your experience. I can assure you that our team goes to great lengths so that customers have all the relevant information needed to make the most informed decision. All our reviews are seen by our General Manager and Management team. We have investigated you experience and have some updates. The technician who worked on the vehicle has many years experience working on Hyundai’s and noticed when removing the wheel, the wheel stud had been crossed threaded by the last person who installed the lug nut. As you mentioned, you have a separate mechanic that exclusively works on your vehicle. Prior to completing the recall we provided an estimate to replace the wheel stud as well as several other recommended items that need to be addressed on the vehicle. As a lug nut can only be cross thread when installing it, it does not make sense that it was stripped when we removed it as stated in this review. Nonetheless, if we were responsible we would gladly have it replaced as it is not a major cost. However, we cannot take responsibility by damages done by third-party.
