The service department needs a lesson in manners Bought my vehicle here from the pre owned department in March and I brought it in for the first service within three months, i had notified them about Bought my vehicle here from the pre owned department in March and I brought it in for the first service within three months, i had notified them about a squeaking break and they said they could check it today but I'd have to leave my vehicle there all day or I could re book since they only had time for the oil change. Why was I not told this when I first booked the appointment? I waited for almost two hours in the waiting area until my car was done from the oil change (two hours for an oil change?) they told me they were running behind. This morning I called to make another appointment as my car is due for another oil change and filter, I called the service department asking if I could make an appointment for next week to get this done and I preferred an appointment due to my last experience at this department. The lady on the phone spoke to me like I was an idiot, like I should be well aware that they do drive in "quick lubes" and I should not be needing to make an appointment. I asked her if it would be fine then for me to drive in on Monday morning and they would be able to complete my request. She said "yes" with a tone which made me want to get off the phone and book somewhere else. I said thank you for all your help, what I wanted to say was maybe they should be putting someone with better phone manners on to handle customer inquiries. I'm not continuing my business with them, I got off the phone and called another place and booked my car in there with someone who was much more pleasant to deal with. CMP should re evaluate their service staff. At least the ones dealing directly with customers. More
The worse car service experience of my life I visited this dealership on Friday August 26th, 2016. First I called, they said for oil change and service we dont have appointment and it is based on the first come first serve. They also said it will be quick. When I arrive, they told me it is over 3 hours wait!!! They offered me a shuttle to anywhere I want, I went to a nearby Sunridge Mall. The girl who did the paper work, Nicole, was very nice and professional, this is why I gave them the one star, otherwise they deserve minus five stars. At 3:47 Nicole called and said the car service is done and I can pick it up, I asked for a shuttle. Shuttle came at 10 past 5, yes for a 2 minute drive it took them 1 hour and 23 minutes and the shuttle came he did not wait for me to buckle up, he drove and suddenly stopped at a stop sign and felt over and my stuff flied everywhere. I rejected to go with that unsafe driver and took off myself with a cab. When I came back, I talked to the manager who seemed not to care at all. He said, I will talk to my staff in a very cold and rude manner. I am very disappointed at their service and feel has been put into unsafe situation and they over all offended by their manager. I don't recommend their service to anyone. More

I must say that Maverick is the best service advisor I have dealt with by far. It's nice to have someone who actually seems to care about the customer. When I pulled in I was brushed off by another advisor who wanted to take his lunch break and Maverick was more than happy to help. From then on he is the only one I see as I know he is always willing to help. More
A free recall ended with a huge bill I don't deal with dealers that often. But the only encounter with this dealer leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It started with a GM recall letter regarding ignition switch back in 2014. I immediately booked an appointment with this dealer. I brought my car in in the morning and got the call in the afternoon that the serivce had been done. I drove home happy. But in the next 2 years, I kept getting bombarded with the same recall letter from GM. I thought it might be just a mistake from GM's side. But eventually I decide it should be stopped from the source. So I drove to this dealer and told them to update GM regarding the recall status. To my big surprise, they told me that my car wasn't serviced on the first appointment at all as per their record. Thinking WTF to myself, I booked another appointment with them. The next day morning, I brought my car in again, left my car and key to them and went to work. I expected it to be completed very soon since they told me it's a minor fix to the key itself, nothing else. But I waited whole day without a call from them. Eventually, it's close to my off time and I felt necessary to call them to check with the status. They told me it's good to go (Why don't notify me sooner, I wonder). So they picked me up, handed me the key and released the car. I tried to open the car door with the fob. No response from the car. Opened the door manually and tried to start the car, the car wouldn't start, as if the battery is dead. Tried to boost the car, no avail. So apparently something else was stopping the car from starting. But by that time, their shop was about to be closed for the day as well. They refused to check the car and told me to book another appointment. As I couldn't drive the car away, I left my car and key with them. The next day, they told me it's a car control module issue and would charge me close to $800! They kept telling me that it's a simple key fix and the car failure had nothing to do with them. So why such a simple fix took you so long to contact (or, more precisely, not contact) me for so long on the previous day? Besides, this car never left your place. As a customer, all I see is this: the car was brought in in working condition but couldn't even be started when it's released. Shouldn't businesses take responsibility of their customer's assets when they keep them? Also the excuse of "diagnosis shows the failure has nothing to do with us" is lame and unfair since you are playing the player and judge at the same time! Who can have confidence in future GM recalls if such thing can happen without dealers or GM taking responsibilities? I see another complaints regarding this ingition recall that breaks some parts but they never admin the fault. I guess I'm not the only one. More
Worst customer service I have had. Sitting in the lounge here at CMP, my vehicle has been here since last Thursday morning to get the rear shocks replaced. Going on 20 minutes for them to get my bill ready for me to pay, even though they called to tell me it was ready at 5 pm yesterday. Very frustrating after all the phone calls and voicemails I left, even had to drive back here during the time it was here to get some where because no one could get me an answer over the phone. More

The manager working the service floor was so incredibly helpful. He bent over backwards for us with these simple yet still zero-income generating requests. He was a good apple. The two bad apples were working the parts desk. We requested a quote for upgraded wheels and as soon as they heard which vehicle we had the fella behind the desk starting knocking our 30-min old car. "Why bother, they're a waste of money, the batteries cost $80,000 to replace and they won't last a year." The lady beside him was no better, "they have to clearcut the Amazon rainforest to get the batteries". Their ignorance on the statistics of the Volt aside, their reactions were very untimely and highly insulting. If they're part of the population in denial about global warming, so be it, but they should remain professional and keep their opinions to themselves. Not sure I would recommend this dealership based on only this one visit - grudgingly, I'd have to go back. More
