Long Distance Buying Funny, I've still never met Wayne Bassett in person. We bought our car by phone from 5 hours away and he couldn't be there when we picked the car up. Nevertheless, I really felt comfortable with him in the 1/2 dozen times we talked. It just happened that we found exactly the car we wanted at Bramgate. Not only did they allow us to make an offer conditional on our seeing and test driving the car when we arrived, they made that experience very quick and painless as we had 10 hours of driving to do to pick up the car and get it back home. Sarah Foss helped set up that quick sale and Ali Jamal received us when we arrived and walked us through the paperwork. It was a great experience. I was given a lot of attention to my needs.The only thing I was disappointed in was when I purchased the extended warranty. When I picked up my new car I asked about it.And was told it would only be 1000.00 or if i wanted the 2000.00 I would have to apply for a credit for work done at the Dealership.It seems abit complicad. Just as I was giving up on VW I came in and met Oscar shortly after dealing with another VW dealership, one of which I had purchased from before. Oscar's true enthusiasm for the Volkswagen brand was clear and his knowledge made the experience second to none, he truly earned my business. In closing the deal I had the pleasure of having Joanne work out all the financing and sweeten the deal with an extended warranty and rust care package that would be crazy to turn down. She as well shared the same great customer care and attention to complete the whole experience. I was coming from Quebec to take possession of the car, and they arranged everything so I would not face any issues with licensing the car.
