- RoadRun69Recently I test drove a vehicle at this Dealership and when I went to negotiate a sale price for the unit the Sales Associate after coming back from the Sales Managers office advised me there had been an “error” made on the Dealerships Website and the unit was actually $5000 more. Having said that the Associate advised the Dealership would “honor” the error but there could be no further negotiation. The use of this type of sales tactic (see bait and switch from a previous review) does not allow for potential clients to come away with a positive purchasing experience when spending 70, 80 or even 100 thousand dollars for a vehicle. Compounded to the potential word of mouth damage to a dealerships reputation and corresponding sales, it instantly removes any credibility the Sales Manager may have had coming into the transaction. It continues to astonish me that some members of the Automotive Retail Sales community continue to perpetuate the antiquated process of “check with my Sales Manager” methodology. And continue to make potential client’s feel they are doing them a favor to have them hand over tens of thousands of hard earned money.

- hummingbird1951We moved to Cobourg two years ago. We had a Dodge Grand Caravan which we bought in 2015 when we lived in Brooklin, Ontario. Since it is a Dodge product I was going to get any service needed done at the Dodge dealership in Cobourg. First trip to the service department whoever the man was at the desk was speaking to someone and I was not even acknowledged by saying I will be with you in a moment. I waited for 15 minutes, still not acknowledged so I walked out. I then went to Martin's Auto Repair, excellent service and reasonably priced. The next time I went into the service department about 2 months ago the same thing happened, totally ignored. I really do not understand this type of customer service. I have had a retail store for 30 years and would never dream of treating customers this way.

- SteveI was kept waiting long after my truck had been serviced, never got the free wiper blades they were supposed to put on as part of service, they removed the snow tires and never marked them for the position they were at before they put them in the back of the truck. I had to complain to F.A.C. to get them to call and offer me my wiper blades then they treated me rudely and gave me the wrong blades when i went to pick them up and get them installed. Complaints to F.A.C. and emails to Boyer's were never addressed by anyone from this dealership even after i told them that if my truck were to break down in front of their building I would have it towed elsewhere to have it fixed
