My overall experience with the purchase of our vehicle was excellent. Having said that, there were a few glitches that I brought to the attention of the appropriate persons and had those issues resolved b was excellent. Having said that, there were a few glitches that I brought to the attention of the appropriate persons and had those issues resolved but am still waiting for resolution to the one issue I had regarding the paint protection. There were some small marks in the paint on the hood which were not appropriately removed and so my vehicle has to come back in to have that part redone. More

We traded in our excellent 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe for a not so good 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe XL on August 27th, 2021. We loved our Santa Fe but needed a third row as we just took in our niece and needed room not so good 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe XL on August 27th, 2021. We loved our Santa Fe but needed a third row as we just took in our niece and needed room for three kids. On August 29th the vehicle began showing signs of tranny issues when going from first to second gear. We notified the dealership immediately and were asked 'what are you going to do'. We purchased extended warranty but this vehicle was misrepresented at the time of the sale and should have never been on the lot as it was. After some back and forth they told us to bring it to the dealership to be diagnosed, and they put a permit on the vehicle we traded in as it's in their name. They told us they are a reputable dealership and the problem will get fixed. My husband was told they'd be in touch later that week (we were at a cabin with no service). The vehicle sat on their lot from August 30th to September 6th with no follow up to us. We ended up having to call our salesman (who was great during the sales process) and he had to put out a key for so we could exchange our old vehicle for the lemon that we purchased. The dealership never called us about the expiring permit or the status of our newly purchaed vehicle (we thought they were open labour day Monday). I called them September 7th and only then found out that no repairs were done as it drove fine for them and no codes came up. The issue begins once the vehicle has been driven for awhile and stopped and started more than once. This has happened on many different occasions. After their lack of care and/or concern we advised them we wanted out of the deal, and our traded in vehicle back. We were advised it wasn't possible without paying thousands of dollars. We told them those costs shouldn't be our responsibility. They advised us it would fall on us as per the higher up's but that they could make us an appointment at a Hyundai dealership to have it diagnosed. We've waited and followed up and 6 days later still nothing has happened. We had hoped that a well known dealership who has won multiple awards would care about doing the right thing and making things right but apparently once the sale is done we mean very little. We do not recommend Bannister Honda Vernon. Signed, two extremely disappointed clients. More

Josie was very helpful with booking appointments and calling promptly with answers to my questions. Jody at the service desk was excellent at explaining what was needed according to the manufacture reco calling promptly with answers to my questions. Jody at the service desk was excellent at explaining what was needed according to the manufacture recommendation. He was diligent to review past service so that we didn’t miss anything. We both noticed a deficiencies from the previous service visit at a different dealer and was able to correct the mistake on service. We travel from our city to Bannister Honda in Vernon even though we have a Honda dealer in our city. Well worth the drive. More
