Shuttle service is one way only. I normally receive excellent service from Bank Street Hyundai. Until Wednesday. I recently (Saturday) bought a 2015 Sonata from Bank Street Hyundai. I normally receive excellent service from Bank Street Hyundai. Until Wednesday. I recently (Saturday) bought a 2015 Sonata from Bank Street Hyundai. Monday, the A/C stopped working so I made an appointment to have the problem fixed. I would have preferred an appointment Saturday to avoid missing work (as I don't work weekends and could wait while the work is being done) but was told that "diagnostics aren't done on weekends". I therefore booked an appointment for Wednesday morning. That morning, I dropped the car off and took the Customer Care Shuttle to work expecting to be picked up once I had finished. Much the same way other dealerships operate. Well, I had no idea that there was such a thing as "no pick-up service" as I found out when I returned a call about the work being completed. Who knew "Customer Care Shuttles" were one-way only? I certainly didn't. Apparently, not even the driver knew because when I asked him about being picked up at 4 p.m., he told me "they don't like to go for pickups after 2 p.m. - you'll have to call them". In disbelief, I shared this news with my colleagues who also couldn't believe that the "Dealer of the year" doesn't offer the same basic service other dealerships in Ottawa/Gatineau do. Fortunately, I was able find a colleague going that way who agreed to give me a ride back to Bank Street Hyundai. I must admit however that I found the experience very disappointing and unusual for such as reputable business that is known for its superior customer service. I STRONGLY suggest that if the shuttle service leaves customers stranded downtown (or anywhere really), you post signs at the service counter and in the shuttle, and remind customers that they can’t rely on Bank Street Hyundai to return them to their vehicles. More

Best car buying experience ever I had used the service department of Bank Street for my 2006 Sonata but had never bought a car from it. I had decided to replace the 2006 soon, with either another Sonata or an Accord. This past Thursday, my wife and I began my shopping mid-afternoon at Bank Street Hyundai. I was lucky to be served by Sam Kadoura, who was the most open and helpful car salesman I have ever dealt with. Polite, friendly and convincing but never pressuring. By the early evening, having test-driven what I wanted, and after being supplied with all the information I needed, I bought a new 2015 Sonata, trading in the 2006 Sonata. Sam was very accommodating, even driving home with me in my last trip with my beloved 2006. By Saturday morning all paperwork was done and I took possession of my new car. Sales Manager Mark Mollekin also chatted with us and verified that we were happy with our experience, Ashur Younan in Finance was very friendly and efficient, allowing us to complete all paperwork in just a day and a bit. More

Then he introduced me to a very approachable and friendly Rabieh who proceeded to make me feel at ease with discussing a "trade up" deal that I would feel comfortable and happy with. Rabieh obviously has good experience with selling cars. He took is time answering my questions, explaining very well the various features and making comparisons with my previous vehicle (changed my Santa Fe 2012 for a Santa Fe 2016). Then came the "finance guy"... also very friendly, who presented me with additional packages and took me through all the necessary legal documents to close the deal. In the following days, he also took care of providing all the necessary information to my car insurer. Well done guys! More
