It is very unfortunate to read this kind of review about our dealership as there is a lot of misleading information being told here. This particular situation involved a HEAVILY modified Ford Raptor which had a couple of minor issues to be worked out prior to being ready to be delivered. All of this was disclosed to the customer. We do not sell vehicles that are not 100% and sometimes depending on how long it takes for parts to come in or how busy our shop is it can take a little time to get certain vehicles ready. We do our best to do everything in a timely fashion but sometimes things are out of our control. That being said, we repeatedly asked you to please not make the trip down until the truck was completely ready. We communicated all updates as they became available. You drove down anyways and told us "get it ready because I'm coming" which just wasn't possible in that time frame. As a side note, you also mentioned that you had to drive to Kelowna for work - and not just to pick up the truck - which was not mentioned in your review. It's unfortunate that these events unfolded how they did but ultimately given the circumstances surrounding this type of modified vehicle we did our best to get things done in a timely fashion while ensuring this customer was kept up to date. Sadly this did not seem to be satisfactory and we feel it is unfortunate that you felt a misleading negative review was the appropriate way to respond.

I must straight some parts up since ALM trying making things up here: 1)Spencer never ask me to not coming down there for pick up. August Motorcars please do not make things up ,to making yourself crystal clear in this case. All he said oh I thought u come in on Friday without reading my texts, where I aware him like a week ahead upon my visit between June 7-9… so I end up came on June 10th , to see dirty, filthy , with full of someone personal stuff inside of my truck which was paid in full 115 000plus tax. 2) why I drove to Kelowna it’s to pick up a truck!!! And u being aware way ahead. The rest is my own business . 3) Keeping my money for 6 weeks , without any phone call or email with updates on what’s going on . I guess that’s ALM is way to go! 4) we all buying vehicles to enjoy it NOW ,NOT sitting and waiting for weeks , months till beat up truck gets somehow fixed. Bottom of the truck was all rusty, deferential, frame … I’m sure if I spend more time I would find more problems in that vehicle. But I can give August a 5 stars for making are great and nice selling ad and promote vehicles online 5) It wasn’t minor problem rpm goes from 500 to 1000 and truck shutdowns after 5 minutes running??? That’s minor!? 115000+ dollars truck must run like a Rolex watch. 6) Salesman Spenser never mentioned about any problems with that engine before sales , but later he admitted that theyve bought it from somebody like that with check engine light on 6 month ago! Question!!! Why u listed truck that have engine problems??? 7) Overall guys please be careful before you purchase your vehicle especially on the distance. I’ve learned my lesson! Will never trust the someone empty words, go in person and see it before you buy it!! 8) We never heard even simple apologies from August. At the end of the day we make those rich ,disrespectful and hypocrites dealership to buy over and over from them. End of my story, hope it helps to prevent someone not to follow into the trap like that.

Hi, we have a record of all communication so what you state is simply not true. We take any negative experiences and reviews very seriously but must also defend ourselves when things are taken extremely out of context or the information provided is misleading. We realized that it would take a bit of time to get the truck up to 100% and numerous times we offered to refund your payment because we did not want to keep you waiting. Typically it never takes this long for any issues to be cleared up with our vehicles but given this specific truck's extreme modifications it was not a typical scenario by any means. Again, we let you know of any updates on the status of the truck as they became available. We also repeatedly apologized for the wait and inconvenience because we understand that it can be frustrating for our customers when a vehicle is not ready right away however we do not cut corners just to make a vehicle available more quickly which may result in more problems down the line. Again - we apologize for how these events unfolded and that you felt there was a miscommunication. We agree it was less than ideal for both parties but we truly tried to ensure that we were transparent about everything and kept you up to date on the progress of this vehicle since day one.
