Dissatisfaction with Hyundai Dealership in Whitby I am writing this review to express my deep dissatisfaction with the Hyundai dealership in Whitby regarding their handling of my warranty for rustproofing writing this review to express my deep dissatisfaction with the Hyundai dealership in Whitby regarding their handling of my warranty for rustproofing and undercoating reapplication. When I purchased my 2009 Toyota Corolla from this dealership, I was assured that rustproofing and undercoating reapplication would be provided every two years at no charge as part of the warranty. Now they are telling my that cause I did not come in after first 2 year span my warranty is invalid . Do not trust this dealership they are quick to take you money for extended warranties but will find anyway to get out of the agreement. More

I saw the service advisor Anthony mentioned and how he is trying to upsell services under fear to customer of warranty void or safety. I realize now that he is the one that said that they would need to tear trying to upsell services under fear to customer of warranty void or safety. I realize now that he is the one that said that they would need to tear down my Elantra engine in order to determine warranty coverage when it failed. Read all the class action lawsuits in USA and Canada for Hyundai engines then do yourself a favour and don't buy Hyundai and don't go to Ajax. When I took the same vehicle to Ontario Hyundai the Service Manager inspected it and listened to the engine ans said that Hyundai would replace the engine on a "program" that Ajax would have known about. Anthony was clearly trying to extract additional monies for the dealership. I expect he gets incentive money for doing so. More

Crooks! I had a serious problem with a failed engine on 2013 Elantra Limited. Unknown to me there was a Bulletin released by Hyundai that stated if this prob I had a serious problem with a failed engine on 2013 Elantra Limited. Unknown to me there was a Bulletin released by Hyundai that stated if this problem was encountered, to do some checks and then a replacement short block would be provided by Hyundai. Service Department told me I would need to tear down the engine at a cost of $950 and there were no guarantees. I declined as I thought it was bad money after bad. By chance I was in Ontario Hyundai and asked them about the costs for the same issue. The service Manager came out to the car listened to the engine, checked my oil fill to see that I had been changing oil and then said he would fix it under extended warranty and it would be ready the next week. Ajax Hyundai clearly knew this and the Ontario Hyundai service guy said no way you need to tear it down to qualify it for warranty. Conclusion is that Ajax Hyundai are scammers looking to get extra money on work that was going to be paid by Hyundai. I won't go there for anything and now, never buy an unreliable Hyundai More
Purchased a used 2016 santa fe with 105 000km under their certified preowned guarantee. The engine seized at 115 000km.
