I have owned many vehicles, but this is the best car buying experience I have had. The Sales Manager, Dilan Rathnapala, and his team were extremely professional, friendly, courteous, and patient with my purchase. Dilan was instrumental in my purchase, and his passion and drive for the Mazda Brand and cars in general run deep in his blood. It is evident that Dilan illustrates immense dedication and commitment towards his customers even long after the purchase. There are no stereotypical 'used car' sales rep attitude or gimmicks with this dealership. Both Dilan and his team at Airport Mazda provide a great deal of respect, honesty, thoroughness, and commitment toward their customers. Upon delivery, Dilan took the time to clearly explain every single button, gadget, and feature in my new Mazda CX-5 right down to the smallest detail (probably the most in-depth tour and explanation I have had of a vehicle in so many years) and was extremely thorough and straight forward with all the paperwork, warranty information, service follow ups, etc. I highly recommend Dilan and his fabulous team at Airport Mazda of Toronto to anyone who is interested in purchasing a new or used vehicle. My first time purchasing a new car. I really like the car but I had THE WORST experience purchasing it. From the salesperson not knowing the product (after taking the 3k deposit, he tells me that the co car but I had THE WORST experience purchasing it. From the salesperson not knowing the product (after taking the 3k deposit, he tells me that the colour chosen is only available on a more expensive model?) to having 3 salespeople hover as I’m trying to REVIEW the contract and telling/pointing to where I need to sign, to having a few items back ordered and them NOT calling me to notify me they were in. We were actually promised that they would be delivered lol. We had to call them to find out the items had been there for a few weeks?! 2 months later and we’re still waiting on a touch up pen?! A few other things but this review is already long winded. Needless to say I would not recommend this particular dealership. I’m so bitter about the whole thing that I will most likely go elsewhere for the service contract. More
