ILX 2014 - problems A few problems with my 2014 ILX. Backup camera is so foggy I can't see out of it, so it is now useless. It was a known problem according to Acura Sas A few problems with my 2014 ILX. Backup camera is so foggy I can't see out of it, so it is now useless. It was a known problem according to Acura Saskatoon service manager, but despite still being within the 4year warranty, I was about 3000 Km's over the warranted period. It's a $2000 repair - they will do nothing for me. Bluetooth kept bumping my phone off, service department wanted $170 just to look at the problem (had to call Acura Canada for help, who walked me through the setting I needed to change). Acura Saskatoon wanted me to bring my car in for a service call - $170, so they could 'diagnose' it. Like really? It's a setting, I kept telling him. Gas mileage - pretty poor performance, despite being a hybrid. My daughters tsx gets better mileage. Overall, service department in Saskatoon has very poor service! When you bring your cat in for service, they go over it to try to upsell you....every time. They called me every time I brought my car in to tell me I needed other types of service, but not once did they mention my camera was looking foggy. Ah well, will never buy a car from them again. Lesson learned! More
