I traded up from a 2013 Jetta to a 2015! Deceptive managers We had dealt with two other dealerships in the lower mainland and were not impressed with customer service so we gave Abbotsford a try. Volkswagen Ca We had dealt with two other dealerships in the lower mainland and were not impressed with customer service so we gave Abbotsford a try. Volkswagen Canada had a national sales event on all 2015 Jetta cars and the prices were standard across the nation. Our salesperson/manager at Abbotsford slid a sales tag across the table $5000 higher than the national sales event and thought we would start negotiating at that price. . He also informed us the model and colour we were looking for was not available anywhere in Canada and stood by this for over 1 hour. He did offer over and over again another model on his lot he could make us a good deal on. When push came to shove and we presented a printed copy of an already negotiated bottom line price from Langley Volkswagen he magically came up with the national sales event price. After I told him how disappointed I was with his first attempt at a fair price he marched me into his fellow colleague/managers' office and low and behold the make, model and colour we asked for was in Maple Ridge. We eventually ironed out the same price I negotiated in Langley after their failed attempt to rip me off and push me into a model I did not ask for. They were both very deceptive managers and not to be trusted unless you have done extensive homework. More
