Go somewhere else, this place was filled with empty promises. No communication between departments and follow thorough - I needed to ask several times for things to be repaired and deficiencies were still not adequately repaired or addressed. The service manager (Ken Shane) was nice, and attempted to help with my concerns after he sensed my frustration - but it seemed like his efforts were trampled by the sales team in an effort to reduce their department's financial obligation to address the deficiencies. Ken Shane was genuine, and seemed like then only person wanting to make a difference. Patrick in the parts department was also very nice and professional you could tell he loved VW's just by the way he knew about VW parts. I was told that my paint chips would be repaired, then my salesperson promised told that he would mail me the touch up pens. Still waiting. The pens retail for 17 bucks, I am sure the cost is must lower. Maybe they will arrive by Christmas. one can only hope. It took six weeks to receive the refund for my warranty. It should have only taken 21 days. And was really only precipitated by contacting the warranty provider (LGM Canada) and VW Canada and asking for assistance in the cancellation of the warranty. The inefficiencies in adequately addressing customer concerns and lip service compounded with the fact that I had to ask several times for the same thing seem endemic to the dealership. Avoid this place. I bought a certified Pre-Owned car earlier this year. Two weeks after I bought the car I had to book in for a "total care" package.. I ended having to I bought a certified Pre-Owned car earlier this year. Two weeks after I bought the car I had to book in for a "total care" package.. I ended having to reschedule my appointment and courtesy car because the last snowfall fell and I wouldn't make it in time from North Van to Abbottsford. They were great about rescheduling.. except they didn't reschedule the courtesy car. They told me that it was their mistake but to go to "Hertz" and Rent a car. I was not able to pay $300 + for a rental and when I called the service manager back, Ken, he basically said I was on my own. So the next day I picked up my car and said I would not be coming back. Fast worward to having the car for 6 weeks.. it has an Electrinic Power Control issue (probably just a sensor) and a probably starting.. everyday. Now my warranty says this is covered but according to any dealership it's not. So after spending a ridiculous amount of money on this car, I have one key that hardly works, a starting problem and an Electronic Power Control problem, in which it says is covered, but apparently it's not. I feel my paperwork was probably done wrong on the words of Kelly. He will say anything to get a sale, he's a lowlife. I bought the car thinking I would get the warranty he was selling me.. nope, my car is elligable. So I have a different warranty and now nothing is covered. More
